Tekkon Kinkreet (鉄コン筋クリート), a pun on "Tekkin Concrete" (the Japanese term for reinforced concrete) is a 2006 feature-length Japanese anime film, directed by Michael Arias and animated by Studio 4°C. It was adapted from Black and White, a one-volume seinen manga series by Taiyo Matsumoto. The story takes place in the fictional Treasure Town (宝町) and centers on a pair of street kids: the tough, canny Black (クロ) and the childish, snot-nosed White (シロ). Together they are known as Neko (猫 Cats).
