Inspired by ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) ff_kh_battle and manga_battle, Teishoku Battle is a battling icon competition focused on the coloring of black and white manga images in challenges based off of manga series and any other crazy things the moderators (tokyonoir & ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) atroquinine) think up. We also have kanrinin as our awesome co-mod!
Every contestant has to choose an avatar (a manga character) to represent them throughout the competition so that their identities are kept secret until the very end of the competition. Each war comprised of various numbers of battles depending on the number of participants, and every battle in each round will ask the contestants to make an icon where manga coloring is required--with a twist, of course.
Points will be awarded or lost depending on how well icons do in the voting stages, and the lowest-ranked avatars will eventually be eliminated. There will also be bonus battles that are optional, but are a good way to gain points. The top-most-ranked iconist at the end of the competition will be the winner and the top 3 iconists will receive some sort of prize that has yet to be determined. There are also Moderators' Choice and People's Choice awards given every week to especially deserving icons.
