AboutWelcome to Teenycom!
Teenycom is a community aimed at helping artists get the word out on certain types of commissions- the wee little ones! It is exclusively for the promoting of ANY form of commission that is under $10 in price. This includes but is not limited to icon, sketch, and conbadge commissions.
With your help and promotion Teenycom can continue to be a great way for our artists to get their names out there! (And for the fans to snatch up a great deal or two!)
The Rules
1. Only posts regarding commissions under $10 are allowed. You may promote your own sale, you may promote someone else's public sale, or you may solicit for a certain kind of commission. Just in case there's any question, "free" is less than $10 and you may offer free promotional art. You may not, however, solicit free art.
Off-topic posts will be summarily deleted. If you feel you have a resource that is so important it should be posted anyway (for example a related community or an artist resource), please contact the moderators. We are pretty reasonable people and most likely if you go to the trouble of telling us we'll be happy to oblige you!
2. You must wait 1 week to repost the same commission. Significant changes in commission type or price makes it a new commission. This wait period does not apply to new commission posts and may be posted sooner.
Artists who posted and sold out all of their slots may post sooner than 1 week if and only if they have completed all the commissions from the previous post.
Please try to use discretion in the application of this rule.
3. Under the information for $10 commissions, you may add a note at the bottom of your advertisement for other commission types currently being offered. This does not mean you may post one $10 commission and then push four or five other types all over $10. A good rule of thumb is that the body of your advertisement should be 80% composed of advertisement and examples for your under $10 commission.
4. Because this is a community is for commissions, please refrain from advertising raffles or other forms of lotteries wherein every person does not receive art for money paid.

artists_beware or artistrecommend. This community is for promotional purposes only. All transactions are private between the buyer and seller and we are not responsible for any difficulties ensuing from agreements made. At no time will a moderator step in and arbitrate any issues between commissioner and artist.
5. If cross-posting your commissions across other related communities, please either space apart the posting time or place your advertisements under a cut in order to avoid spamming the friends list of people who watch more than one community.
6. Disrespectful behavior including to profanity or 'flaming' is not permitted either on commissions posts or modposts pertaining to community business. If you absolutely have to get in a long off-topic verbal brawl in this community, the entire thing must be conducted in perfect rhyming iambic pentameter. If you're going to take up our time with that sort of thing, the least you can do is make it entertaining for us!
Haha no, but seriously- this is a service that people volunteer their time to maintain for the benefit of artists and commissioners alike. There will always be differences in opinion, but keep it professional, keep it respectful. Violators get only 1 warning.
