I was browsing Google for stock art, but look what I found instead!
It looks like some little webpage designer took it upon herself to steal artwork and "mess with" it (looks like MS Paint to me). She uses this art in one of her PhotoShops without credit, and just by the style I can tell it was made by hyoungeun on the TitansGo oekaki. I don't know how long this page has been up with the stolen art, but you can find the page here. She removes the artist's name which was once in the corner or the drawing.
But wait! There's more! On her other pages, she displays a lot of other originals of TGN oekaki art and doesn't give a lick of credit to the original artists. The original of hyoungeun's drawing is there, plus others. Maki's Raven light drawing and friends photo; this one by an unknown artist; this and this by someone I don't know, though I recognize the style; this by Shiankra; and this by brittany. Those are all that I could find.
There's also a lot of screenshots stolen from World's Finest and Animarion Insider, plus some icons I don't recognize. They're probably stolen, but I don't know who would have made them.
But Jesus Christ, it's a lot. It's time she's been found out, and it doesn't look like she had permission from the artists to display their work at all. We should try and contact her and/or her site host, plus warn the original artists. What a beautiful way to start the new year >_> |

Looks like another theft in this TitansGo.Net thread, commited by who seems to be user flyingfirefox_6 if you scroll down to her second batch. She claims that her account was hacked by someone who used the same apartment computer when she forgot to log out, but I'm not sure if it's true... I just figured you guys should know. She claims we can find the original artists on PhotoBucket, and they're all hosted in different users' folders, so that's probably true.
The stolen icons up there - there are at least five - are ones I've seen before but I can't remember who originally did a couple of them. She posted many more and apparently none of them are hers, but it seems some of them were made by whoever hacked her account.
This one was made on LJ forever ago, I know I've seen it. Maybe ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) fritters made it? I don't remember exactly who but it is a common icon. The second one, here, was made by a TGN user more recently in a songset. Again, I don't know, but it was on TitansGo first. The third one I'm not entirely sure was stolen, but it doesn't seem like her style and it looks familiar. If it is stolen, I think TGN member RobynStarling made it, but again I'm not sure. The fourth one here I know I've seen before, and I'm not certain but I think deltashade made it. This last one was definitely made by dynamicpoetry a while back.
You should check and see if there are others you recognize, and if we can identify the real makers of them. I know some are originals from whoever used her account, but others I can't tell. So yeah, just a heads-up. |

Over at TitansGo.Net, there's a graphics thread here that popped up a few weeks ago and I never looked at it until now, but there definitely appears to be some theft going on.
If you look at SladeRobin's sigs, it's clear that she's using MSPaint to make them. But upon closer inspection, many of her sigs, including this and this, are essentially just a bunch of icons cut and pasted together into a sigpic. A lot of the icons she compiled have textures, and since we know she's using MSPaint, which can't do textures, that's automatic proof that she did not make them.
I don't know who did make any of them, but she's using them all without any kind of credit. Another member asked her about this situation in her thread, and she said that she didn't make them (apparently found them on PhotoBucket), but still does not give credit to the original makers - and, as far as I know, isn't using them with permission from the artists.
She is also using an icon as a forum avatar, and said that she didn't make it, but isn't giving any credit in her signature.
Does anyone know the rightful owners of the icons she put in her sigpics? And the one she's using in her profile? 'Cause once we find them, she might be willing to ask those people permission for use of their work, and/or credit them for what she did use. Thanks in advance! |

Looks like those roleplay journals on GreatestJournal are at it again. This time, cyborgtitan, whose page can be found over here, has stolen one of sociologique's anti-theft banners (without credit, so s/he obviously doesn't know what it means), and what looks like the layout background for a Cyborg fanlisting.
I looked around a few of the other RPers' journals to find some stolen graphics, but I didn't find anything that I recognize. You might want to check to see if you can identify anything. |

If you watch the first few seconds of it, you can see some stolen icons flash by. I recognize a few as sociologique's work. I must say, this is the first time I've ever seen stolen icons used in a video. That's... Interesting. |

I don't know who this is, or what the purpose of that community is, but I found in my site stats just now that they're hotlinking to the icon I'm using for this post. No credit, no asking permission, no nothing. You might want to check this and any other posts of theirs if they've taken anything of yours, because they look like they just take and hotlink icons at random. |

Continuing with the last group of icon theives, they're stealing more icons! I've laid the smackdown on blackfire2 and shiawase34 with regards to icons by me and some by blooming_cosmo. I finally regged a GJ account just to do so, and you can find my comments here. If you go through their friends list, you'll find a ton of icon theft. For the most part they're doing okay with credit, but there are some that I'm sure aren't by them or their friends and can't identify off the top of my head. |

That crazy family of intarweb pirates is at it again, this time with RobynStarling as the culprit:

She took at least four graphics and claimed them as her own. The first is this one, which was made by deltashade. Then there's this Terra mini-movie - and I'm almost 100% certain that it's one of sociologique's older icons. If not, let me know where you think it came from. The third stolen graphic is this here signature, and it was made by b0i_wonder. The last stolen graphic is this code that came from the official Terra fanlisting (Audacious).
The drawings on her other avatars are most likely stolen, and I'll go look around on DeviantART for a while to see if I can find any of the original artsits. I'm also sending her a PM through the forum like I did with her sister. She also hijacked MY graphics thread to show off the aforementioned Terra signature that she stole. If any admin or mod over at TGN could delete or edit this post, I'd be really grateful.

Hey guys, it's FocusedShadow from the TitansGo.net forums speaking.

In our first example, it looks like she took this avatar made by sociologique, changed the file type, added text, then claimed to have made it from scratch herself. The other stolen file, thbrokenl.gif, was definitely made by another user. I've seen it around the forum long before she joined, and she took it without crediting or making any changes to it. Since I already found who made the first one, anyone who knows where thbrokenl.gif came from can come and say so.
[EDIT: Okay, so I've discovered the person who did the artwork on the third avatar she uploaded. Apparently the artist is a TGN member named RobynStarling. RobynStarling also happens to be the culprit's older sister (and has the exact same speaking style as the thief), so I'm not 100% sure if the claim is true, but I think for now it's safe to say we probably found the original artist. -FocusedShadow]
I'm sending the user a private message through the forums right now to see if I can get my point across to her.
Just thought I'd give you guys a heads-up, because internet thieves are a bunch of goobers. |

I know this is sorta a continuation of that website issue in the previous post, but she said that she obtained graphics from this website: www.freewebs.com/terrafans/fanart.htm and this website says that you don't need to credit anyone. The graphics on this website are also stolen. One graphic theft site creates another... |

Then in her chatterbox she goes "I can have them up because I'm allowed!"
