AboutThis community was made for all of you electronica fans out there.
This is a great place to discuss all of the electronica artists and DJs you all love, as well as those you hate. Whether you're into jungle, gabber, trance, house, techno, eurodance, happycore, trip hop, or ambient, it's all good.
All diverse tastes in electronic music are welcome.
And if you have any mixes of your own, feel free to post the links here.
Rules:
There's only one rule for you to join: good vibes and an open mind only. Anything other than that will get you on a one-way ticket out of here. This is a friendly environment, so if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. Save it for your own journal.
I'm pretty lenient about what you can post. You can post anything that is related to electronic music and the positive aspects of the rave culture in general. I would prefer it if your posts stayed circled around those ideas, however, I won't give you a hard time if you go and post something more off-topic like drugs; I'm not going to delete it. I won't be a bitch if you go and promote your community in here either as long as it's relevant; just please don't disallow the comments option.
However, I will not tolerate:
insulting, degrading, slanderous, snotty posts;
constant bashing;
online "wars"; etc.
As the maintainer and creator of this community, I have the privilege of getting to delete anything I don't like. So please, save us both the time, and keep those things out.
Other than that, anything goes. The point here is to have fun!
In the interests section, you'll come across quite a list of electronica styles and subgenres that you might never have heard of. If you're unsure of them, feel free to go to this site (click) to read some "definitions". Of course, the best way to learn what a subgenre is like is to actually listen to it.
