Hello - I'm new to the community and while I've been a longtime Teatime and Pratchett fan, it never occurred to me to look up any Discworld communities until now. With that, I'm gonna ask: I'm thinking of doing a Teatime/Susan fanmix for kicks and am wondering what songs you all think might fit. So far, what I've got is placed under the cut. Opinions welcome.

I see that the community is rather quiet, but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the string music that seems to be Mr Teatimes theme in the Hogfather TV series?  c:

First of all, I'd like to apologise to the mods if this kind of thing isn't okay. I just don't know how else to get the word out.

Announcing 'The Turtle Moves' - this will be a site for all Discworld fanish endeavours including fanfiction, fan art, fan vids, and anything else the rabid fan-mind can come up with.

What is required at this point is anything and everything you would be willing to have posted as part of this project. ALL kinds of Discworld related fanfiction, art, or videos are welcome.

Okay, I've had a thought that needs an answer... so I thought, why not challenge you guys to answer it! *g*

What if Banjo hadn't been there during Susan and Teatime's confrontation? How or why, I don't care. Maybe Medium Dave grabbed him and took off at some point - I doesn't really matter although I'd be curious to think what excesses other people could come up with. Anyway, the point is Teatime and Susan are alone and there's no one there to literally tear him away from her. What would have happened? You can go as dark, light, serious, funny, pure, or smutty as you like. I'm just curious to see what others think might have happened if they'd been left alone to work out their battle of wills themselves without outside interference.

Any takers? Please? *looks pleadingly around*

Title:   Frozen
Author:   Cleo
Website:   Pica Pica

Rating:   PG-13?
Fandom:   Hogfather
Pairing:   Susan Sto Helit/Jonathan Teatime
Summary:   For Susan, the ghost of winter is too strong to fade with the passage of time.

Author's Note:   This was written on a single evening, in a single sitting.  I just had an image of Susan standing in the snow and this story was born.  I hope you like it.

Hello all! I could use the kind attentions of a beta reader for a Susan/Teatime story I've finished and another I'm sort of working on but could use a little help with.

Anyone have the time/interest? Please?

Why Susan and Teatime? I mean, can you imagine Susan capitulating to anyone? Or Teatime talking about love, unless it's in a severely twisted manner?

*waves cheerily* Hello there! Newbie here, coming to pay homage to the amazingness that is Teatime. I even bring a sacrifice: the first chapter of a SusanxTeatime fic! Comments and critiques are always appreciated much appreciated. *bows out*

Title: Magic So Ancient
Pairing: SusanxTeatime
Summary: When a bumbling young wizarding student accidentally summons the ghost of Jonathan Teatime, the former assassin sets about regaining a corporeal form and getting revenge on the woman who murdered him – Susan Sto Helit. And this time, he’s certain, he’s got a foolproof plan…
Chapter Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Susan, Teatime, and the incredibly awesome Discworld belong to Terry Pratchett and not me. I do not contain one-fifth of Terry Pratchett’s brilliance, and I mean no harm or offense to his works. I make no money off this fic – it just brings joy to my soul.

I know I haven't kept up with We Rob Banks on LJ or dA--school and all that--and it's gotten so backed up, posting-wise, that I'm thinking I probably won't even attempt to keep cross-posting it.  Henceforth, I shall only be updating the fic at its ff.net location, which can be found here.  (Don't worry, though--I will keep updating!  This is not a fic I intend to abandon, even if it takes me years to finish.  Which it may.)

In semi-related news, I've also officially decided that Banks isn't going to stray out of the Ho Yay/slash-if-you-squint-and-are-seriously-looking-for-it department.  Popular as that has the potential to make it, I really feel like it's more in character, as well as more accessible to all fans of Carcer and/or Teatime and/or the Disc in general and more fitting with the source material not to stray past the bounds of tenuous and occasionally subtexty almost-friendship.  Figured y'all should know, I guess.  :)

Okay, here's the thing.  I've been writing fiction (both fan and original) for a LONG time now, but I'm still new to writing Discworld fic.  I am, at the moment, working on my first Susan/Teatime story.  It's not finished yet, I know that.  Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure where I'm going with it.  So, I thought I'd post the beginning of it here for two reasons.  1) I'd like feedback on what I've done and where people think I could/should/might go.  2) It is still entirely without a title.  I suck at titles.  Ideas?

There are spoilers here not only for Hogfather but also for Soul Music and Thief of Time.

I'm writing some Susan/Teatime drabbles (either 100 or 200 words) both rated PG, and from different POV's. I make no claim to these characters - they are Mr. Pratchett's.

Title: Kiss of Death
Fandom: Discworld
Character/Pairing: Slight Susan/Carcer and Susan/Teatime.
Prompt List: Bewitching Brews
Prompt: Blood Kiss. Lush, creamy vanilla and the honey of the sweetest kiss smeared with the vital throb of husky clove, swollen red cherries, but darkened with the vampiric sensuality of vetiver, soporific poppy and blood red wine, and a skin-light pulse of feral musk.
Rating: T
Word Count: 789
Author's Notes: Not quite in the light-hearted vein typical of Pratchett, but this is what came to mind at the prompt.
Summary: When Susan stands in for her grandfather at Carcer's hanging, she finds herself haunted by another killer from her past.

We Rob Banks

They’re young! They’re in love! And they kill people! Well, maybe not that second one. Teatime and Carcer narrowly escape (permanent) death and inadvertently become the Disc’s answer to Bonnie and Clyde, proving that there’s no such thing as too much crack. Told in drabble form because it wasn’t odd enough already.
