This community is to organise lolita meet ups across the U.K nearly every month, sometimes in tea houses, sometimes in members houses. We have a consistent 'tea party theme' because sitting down and chatting over tea is comfortable and friendly and is great at knocking down nerves! This is taken in the loosest way though so don't worry if you don't like tea!
We have a huge range of ages from 14 to over 30s! Because of the dangers of meeting someone 'from the internet' everything is arranged so we meet in public places during the day :) I know first meets can be intimidating but don't be scared! For meets such as craft days, bake-offs etc these can be hosted in members homes. For obvious reasons please come to a few meets to get to know people first before you can join in. We're mostly based in the south east or London and are a very close knit bunch of people always looking to make new friends.
There are several pockets of lolitas in the north and west as well who are most welcome to post meets here
Anyone can organise and host a meet!
We just have two rules:
*Only one meet per month unless they're significantly far enough away from each other
*We are the Tea Party Club! Theme park meets, sky diving, theatre, cinema, shopping or anything that can't allow for at least a small sit down and chat is better placed in![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
