Chris/Dell will be in tonight's episode of Private Practice.

I can't get the video to embed, so here's the link: http://www.spoilertv.com/2009/10/private-practice-episode-304-pushing_21.html

It's the first clip. There are other sneak peeks not including Dell after that for anyone interested.

Just saw this, and it has what looks like a new (albeit short) clip of Chris/Dell in it. It may be old, but I can't remember seeing it in the premiere. The promo is a generic one for the show, but if you're really scared of spoilers, you are warned. Definitely spoilers for all the episodes that have aired so far in the season.

Not sure if this means Dell will appear in the next episode, or it's a scene from a future episode.

I was looking at scans of the spread on KB in Women's Health, & they have a little section with blurbs about some of her previous work. This one tickled me a bit. )

If you're only watching for Chris he appears at about 39 seconds in for about 1 or 2 seconds. Really you should just watch the whole trailer though, because it's Clooney, plus the movie looks really good.

This post will be for any and all discussion about the episodes of season three of Private Practice. Whether Dell is in them or not, this is the place to talk about all things season three.

Obviously there will be spoilers in the comments, and I will place the link for this discussion post in the sidebar so that it is easy to find for anyone who wishes to discuss the episodes.

Chris is in a New BriTANick video. Not as funny as pillow talk in my opinion. But still, new video of Chris :D

From today's Ask Ausiello:

Question: Are we going to see more of Dell on Private Practice this season? Chris Lowell is so talented it’s a shame to see it go to waste. —Deven

Ausiello: Believe it or not, we’re going to be seeing less of Dell this season. Sources confirm to me exclusively that Chris Lowell’s episode order has been reduced from 22 to a minimum of 13. Technically, he still remains a series regular though. Conventional wisdom says the move was budget-related, but a Private Practice insider says Lowell wanted more freedom to pursue other projects.

Also, one other quick Dell related thing from this week's AA:

Dear Shonda Rhimes, you suck.

Ugh. The question now is do you still want PP discussion posts, or is it even worth it with his episode number cut and one would assume his episode time still being in the single digits minutes wise (by the way I was bored and did some math and he was only in 10% of the season last year)

ETA: I think for me the reason I'm so irritated is that I see so much potential in Dell as a character and they just seem to be dropping the ball. I am glad that Chris will get to work on other (and probably better) things, however being able to see him on my TV every week (even though it was not a lot of time) was nice.

They posted some great things re: Chris like:

And finally, there is a feature entitled “Life Through the Lens: The Photos of Chris Lowell.” Most of you are going to want to skip this feature; that I’m sure of because I almost did because it sounded, well, stupid to me. But I decided to check it out nonetheless and I was so pleased I did. Chris Lowell is an AMAZING photographer and has such a great sense of humor, and this feature showcases both of these things. Among the photos shown are some rare, never-before-seen shots of the Private Practice cast that are so neat to see. There’s also a photo snuck in there of TR Knight and Justin Chambers – one that I’m pretty sure was taken at the Good Medicine benefit concert on Leap Day 2008, which is amazing to consider just because I was at that event. This feature is actually well worth watching, so be sure not to skip it.

and:
Though this DVD set is actually a bit light on the features side, the two heavily extended episodes and the Chris Lowell feature with the rare Private cast photos make the set well worth buying.

Nice to see someone who was skeptical, come around.

You can read the rest of the review HERE The DVD will be released on September 15 (next Tuesday)

Chris/Dell appears for like a second, but still... Under the cut for spoilers from the season 2 finale, and the season 3 premiere.

Private Practice Season 3 Promo )

Also, don't forget this Thursday, September 10 (sidenote how is this Thursday September 10 already?!?!) the trailer for Up In The Air will be available on iTunes. This is the teaser trailer, from my understanding of Jason Reitman's tweet on the subject. :D

First, the Dell related portion of the season description, under a cut of course for spoilers.

Description )

The fact that he's mentioned in the description, gives me hope that we'll be seeing more of him this season.

Second, promo pictures from season 3, Dell only and the full cast picture. Under the cut for size.

The trailer for Jason Reitman's movie Up In The Air (which Chris is in, of course) will premiere on iTunes on September 10, 2009. Beginning on September 18, 2009, the trailer will be before the movies "The Informant" and "Love Happens"

Let's hope Chris actually appears in the trailer.

Yeah... I ran out of questions there for a while.... But after a small discussion with [info]dekolette about how Chris has been basically M.I.A. since April, at least from the public eye, I came up with this one.

For anyone who watches the Ellen Degeneres show, she did something called "George Watch 2008" (later renamed George Will Be Mine in '09) to lure George Clooney into coming onto her show, and she did a ton of crazy things to achieve this goal. (Ex. Chippendale dancers, a marching band etc.)

So my question is, what would you do to try and lure Chris Lowell back out into the public eye?

I think for this, the crazier the better. Anything to get us through this lack of news/pictures/videos/anything new.

So according to those who responded to the poll, 15 members have a Twitter account, 1 has been thinking about it, and 1 does not have it.

So here's my idea. Sometimes I don't think Shonda knows just how many fans Chris has out there, or that there is a desire for him to get more screentime. There aren't enought of us to create a trending topic like #morechrisonPP or #moredellonPP, though we could try.

So my idea is to just send Shonda tweets about wanting to see more Chris/Dell on the show. I'm thinking not all at one time or anything like that, just general inquiries about if he's in the dailies she's watching for the day, or in the script they're working on etc. Just enough to let her know that we want more Chris on the show because he's a great actor and deserves it. Just spreading them out over time.

What does everyone think?

Also, for anyone knowing, her Twitter account is http://twitter.com/shondarhimes
