Hi. This release has an optional support of GtkSourceView2. To configure TEA with GtkSourceView2, use:
./configure --enable-GtkSourceView2
This mode can be unstable, but I'm already use it as well. It would be great if you test it too and tell me, how it is going. Please note that the default TEA compilation mode is still related to GtkSourceView 1.x. See the README for details.

Hi, I built this on Ubuntu Feisty and turned it into a Debian package with checkinstall (with the default gtksourceview though). If you'd like it I can put it up or something. I'm assuming it got the dependencies right, as I installed libgtksourceview-* before installing the .deb.
Looks good btw, I just started using it today for Tcl coding experiments.

It's a great news, because the original Debian package is outdated. If you place you package somewhere, please send me a link - I'll put it to the TEA site at the Downloads page.

Right so, I've stuck it at http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~exolon/tea_17.2.0-1_i386.deb - let me know if there's any problems... I put my email address as the maintainer for the package file, although checkinstall seems to do all the work :)

Thanks, although I've hardly contributed to Tea except to run a packaging script on it :) Better to use my name if you'll add an entry though.
