Stephen throws a surprise party for Jon at The Daily Show but can't get into the spirit of things because he's in loooove. Takes place in 2004 and they are still married. Hello guys!
Humor the newbie, please. I'm looking for a fic I read on here a couple of days ago, and for the life of me, I can't remember the name. It's driving me crazy, since I can remember major plotlines and even dialogue, just not the title/author.
What I remember of the story:
- Stephen proposes to Jon
- Jon blurts it out the next morning at work
- The staff/casts of both TDS and TCR have an impromptu party at TCR studio - with Rob Riggle and Asif "frog marching" Jon and Stephen around
- Other pundits find out - Keith & Rachel are both happy
- Wedding gifts abound, including someone sending Jon a manual on "the feeding and care of Stephen Colbert"
- Stephen gets a piece of hate mail/ Paul tries to make him feel better / Keith threatens O'Reilly and says that he's the person who encourages the hate mail
(See? It bugs me I can remember this much of the text, just not the title... *sniff*)
If you guys can help me track this down, I would really appreciate it. :] |

Im a long time lurker first time poster.I am new to LJ and still trying to find my way around.It took me a good five minutes just to find the post button so please forgive me if I do something stupid.Its not on purpose I swear.I have written a couple hundred stories and I am hoping to share them just as soon as I can get them all typed up.I just wanted to get a few things clear before I started posting.Are fics with odd pairings welcomed here as long as they contain Jon or Stephen as a main character or is it strictly Stephen/Jon?Also if anyone could direct me to a good Keith/Anderson fic loving journal I would appreciate it! |
