Good afternoon members of tcg_exchange!
The ninth competition is now here. For this week's competition I want you to build me a newbie (n00b) guide to tcg_exchange. This guide should tell a newbie the things he or she should know about the community. For those of you who have been here for a long time you should most definitely try to go back to that point at which you were a member here (and for some of us that's been years). For those that are newer, try to incorporate the things you have learned and any questions you might have. I do NOT want this FAQ style, but rather a guide.
One entry per person. Once again I will be judging this. Please format your comment with the following format:

I'm grading on the clarity and ease of your guide, the way it is presented, and how thorough your guide is.
Winning Prize: 1 A cert, 5 random cards and 1 NEW event cards that hasn't been released yet [different than last week's] - (IT WILL BE MY CARD, SO MAKE SOMETHING GOOD. :D) Your page will also grace the wiki of the community.
Runner Up Prize: 1 B Cert and 4 random cards.

Hello~ Here's Contest #8's results! :D
Nice work all of you! I saw alot of good competition and a few that tried to bend the rules a bit. In any case, here are the winners for contest 8~ Sorry about the lateness!
I grade majority on 1) did the deck follow the rules of deckmaking and the rules of the contest, 2) is the deck unique or do we have decks already similar to this, and 3) are the deck IMAGES of good or better quality.

We have a few things going on right now for everyone to be aware of.

eeveelyn has stepped down as a mod here due to work circumstances. Her posts will be covered and re-distributed. Please be patient as we get it all sorted out and updated.
2. We need more images for the Final Fantasy Tactics:: Main Characters deck. We were given over 60+ images, but there are only 7 actual main characters in that set. We need at least 10 different characters to complete the deck. I'm told there are more than 10, so this shouldn't be a problem for anyone more familiar with the series than I am.
3. There will be a small deck retirement coming up after the activity check in August. While we will not announce the specific decks in advance, we have decided to give members series warnings. The decks retiring will be from the following series:
Bleach
Chrno Crusade
D.Gray-man
Gyakuten Saiban
Katekyo Hitman Reborn
Kyou Kara Maou
Ookiku Furikabutte
Weiss Kreuz

Requirements: Make a podcast, youtube video, essay, design a box on photoshop, etc. AMV's are acceptable [as long as you add in credits and such].

You guys continue to amaze me with your coloring skills. As generally speaking it's always a pleasure to see people with amazing coloring skills. We had 12 lovely entries between both the hard and normal levels. For that reason, I changed the prizes a little bit so that people could get runner-up prizes.
