Welcome to [info]tapout100!! Like a million others, this is a 100 icons challenge community, only this time- for wrestling. Any era, any company, any gimmick.

So what IS a 100 icons challenge?? I'll explain. You claim a subject by commenting on this post. Once you're acknowledged and added to the claims list, it's your job to make 100 icons of your subject. Simple, yeah? It's fun. And when you complete it, you'll get a shiny banner. Who could want more?? You don't need to be great at graphics to participate; you're encouraged to take a shot regardless of how great you are. Have fun with it.

- FIRST OFF- BE NICE. We all learned that back in kindergarten, so don't be an asshole. If you don't like someone's icons or their subject- keep your mouth shut and don't be a smark. If you keep screwing around you'll be banned after a few times. We have little tolerance for bitches. Okay? Good.

- This community is for WRESTLING, and WRESTLERS. Out of 100, I'm sure we can let one or two slip by, but try to keep the icons wrestling related. For example, if you claim The Rock, use old wrestling photos of him and WWF promotion photos. Try to stay away from using caps from his films, as the community should remain predominantly wrestling-themed.

- To prevent unwanted spamming, posting access is not open. When you've made a claim and it's been acknowledged you will be given posting access. :)

- You may claim two subjects at a time, however the two people cannot be a tag team, manager/wrestler, valet/wrestler, or members of the same stable. That isn't fair! However, once you've completed your challenge and want to start over, you can pick whoeeeeever you want. For example: You may not claim The Undertaker and Kane at the same time. But if you claim The Undertaker, and finish, you can claim Kane next. Just not at the same time.

- If you want to try this but you're not sure who you want to do- check the requests post for ideas!

- You still have the same amount of time to complete the challenge if you do two subjects at once. If you don't touch one or both for long enough and someone else takes the claim, you cannot use this as an excuse.

- Only one claim can be made for each subject at a time, though the subject is free again once the other person has completed their challenge. Click here to see the claims list or make your own claim. If you'd like to drop a claim at any time, comment on the same entry.

- Although a single person can appear in an icon with another person, for example- if they're wrestling, try to focus on just your subject. However, if you claim a tag team, BOTH members must be in every icon. Same goes for stables- if you claim Degeneration X, all members must appear in the icon. Be prepared to make all 100 icons of the group.

- You do NOT have to make all 100 icons at once. You can post them in groups.

- There is a one month time limit regarding icons. You do not have to finish ALL 100 icons in that month, but on the 27th of every month we clear any claims that have not been touched AT ALL in said month. If you're having computer issues or something legitimate that prevents you from working on them, let someone know and we'll cut you some slack. :)

- If your posts contain more than three icons, please use an LJ-cut. If you use a cut, you may post a teaser with three icons, maximum. Also keep anything inappropriate behind a cut. We're probably all pretty strong-stomached, being wreslting fans and all, but just drop a line warning before the cut if there needs to be one. Be considerate and use your judgment. Keep it work safe.

- The whole purpose of this is to be CHALLENGED. That said- do NOT post icons you've made already. That's easy. The whole point is to make new ones.

- Try to use this format when you post:

Credit: [for sources of brushes, bases, pictures, etc.]
Notes: [if you have anything to add, if you want to state conditions of using icons, stuff like that]

- If you want to be on the waiting list for a wrestler, details and list are located here along with information
about how extensions work with the community.

- If you have any questions, leave them in the FAQ post where we'll do our best to answer for you. Read over existing questions to see if yours is already there. ALSO some other details about rules may be listed here, because it would take forever to keep going on about it in the userinfo. Nothing serious, but it wouldn't hurt if you checked it over for anything that might apply to you. :)
