| Tank Girl: All Broken |
[23 Feb 2009|10:04am] |

Latest installment of Tank Girl's poetry, pencil and ink series has just gone live. Click HERE to view.
Meanwhile, TG's pen pal Rufus Dayglo will join 2000 AD editor Matt Smith, and a host of the comic ’s heroic writers and artists, to celebrate the release of Thrill-Power Overload (a 260 page illustrated account of 2000 AD's 30-year history) at the Forbidden Planet Megastore's 2000th Signing event in London on Saturday, March 21st from 1-2:30 pm. Tank Girl's 2HB-powered scribbler will be doing free sketches of Tankie, Judge Dredd etc, signing comics, and then drinking far too much in the nearby pubs. If you're in a Soho watering hole on the appointed day in the vicinity of a gangly punk rock, ginger-topped geezer with mad ink that looks like he's in need of more alcohol (Rufus' default expression), his preferred tipple is Guinness, white wine and chocolate martinis –– just don't mix 'em together (his stomach will take care of that!).
Click HERE for more info (on the event that is –– not Rufus' drinking ahbits!).

| Tank Girl Resurrected |
[16 Jan 2009|05:48pm] |

In the process of documenting Tank Girl's past for a best-of book called The Cream of Tank Girl, Tank Girl co-creator Alan Martin found a renewed passion for his foul-mouthed, mutant kangaroo-humping friend. In this interview her talks about the past, and what the future holds for Tank Girl.
Original draftsman Jamie Hewlett may have moved on to pastures new with Damon Albarn and their virtual Gorillaz band, but Tank Girl has found a new pen pal to roughhouse with. Her new artist, Rufus Dayglo, has got a very active pencil, posting sneak peaks of her new adventures on his website and on his SuicideGirls blog. Martin and Dayglo also post Tank Girl haikus and art in their new monthly series: TG on SG.

| Tank Girl Novel Now Available! |
[18 Apr 2008|12:44am] |

For anyone who hasn't heard, the Tank Girl novel "Tank Girl: Armadillo!", was recently released. The novel is written by Alan Martin himself and was originally only available as a limited release via ebay auctions that he held. The plot of the novel is based on a story similar to what would have been used for the Tank Girl movie had it not been so heavily altered.
Having bought and read one of the original versions, I can tell you that it's a very entertaining and comedic read, offering both an inner look at the lives and relationship of Tank Girl and Booga, as well as shedding light on a few other character's backgrounds as well. Show your support for Tank Girl and pick up a copy!

| So I've recently become aware
|
[19 Mar 2008|01:21pm] |
The hun yellow pages So I've recently become aware of Tank Girl, but my efforts to buy the comic in my tank girl lacking city have not gone well. Independent and chain stores are both sold out, and I also heard something about something something being out of print. I'm disliking it.
Recommendations for first ever Tank Girl comic that I should buy online?
(my name is Iona and since i don't have a tank to ride around in the wilderness, I'm way into living vicariously through these comics thanks)

New tank girl comic came out yesterday! Thoughts? I like Ashley Wood's art even if its not Jamie Hewlett's. Did anyone get any of the alternate covers? I got cover B, because I thought it was a little more Tank Girl-esqe.
