Welcome to Tanemura Awards, an icon contest community featuring the artwork of Arina Tanemura. Tanemura was born on March 12, 1978 in Achi, Japan. She is the artist and creator of such series as Time Stranger Kyoko, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, Full Moon wo Sagashite, and most recently, Shinshi Doumei+. At an icon contest, the mods provide a challenge theme each week, and you submit an icon according to that theme. After the icons are posted, members are asked to vote for the ones they think are best. The amount of icons you may vote for may vary with each week, depending on the number submitted.
