| In the world of Amoi it is the end of a long day and the sun is setting, transforming the sky into a breathtaking display of amber light. You can see it from wherever you are - in your towering loft in the pleasure district of Midas or your lowly nest in the slums of Ceres - wherever you are, it is like a fire opal ablaze with rich color and beauty beyond compare. On the horizon the familiar neon lights of the city begin to glow, raking the sky with wicked color. As the sun makes her descent behind the clouds, the heavenly metropolis truly becomes alive, teeming with a lack of inhibition and voices that holler for the reinstatement of their rights. Is yours one of those voices, or one of the many that seek to silence the rebellious? Wherever you stand, the hand of JUPITER is the one that rules over you. Thought to be an invincible artificial intelligence, JUPITER alone is the cause for the extreme class segregation in Tanagura, given to be based on something seemingly arbitrary - hair color. It is, however, JUPITER's jurisdiction in which the city falls under. Disobey JUPITER and you disobey the law. At the end of the day it is your choice... Do you live in a gilded cage forever, or do you suffer in the streets and fight to survive every day? Or maybe, just maybe, you take a stand, and you do something extraordinary. In the end you must ask yourself... What is freedom worth to you? |
