Here, TAMU-CC students and alumni are invited and encouraged to discuss courses, school work, campus activities, etc.
  • Are you freaking out the day before the big exam?

  • Trying to figure out which course to take? Ask fellow students for advice!

  • Are you through with those books? Try selling them here!

  • Does your student organization have an upcoming event it would like to shed light on? Tell us about it!

I'm sure you get the idea. If you're a student at TAMU-CC, feel free to join and add this community to your friends list. Be sure to tell other TAMU-CC students about this community as well!

As a precaution, bear in mind that LiveJournal is publicly viewable, and that any and all posts here run the risk of being seen by professors and other staff members. In short, watch what you say.



Community Rules (Last Updated on 5-20-05):
  • No shit-talking, obviously.
  • Please do not discuss illegal activity (such as pirating, scamming the school, etc.). This is really for your own good, not the community's.
  • We do not want to hear about your day. No, really - we don't.
  • Do not join this community simply to promote events that do not pertain to TAMU-CC. Information about shows, bands, and the like ought to be posted to communities such as [info]corpus__christi. Because [info]tamucc and [info]corpus__christi share many of the same members, this is not an outrageous request.
  • Repeat posts will more than likely be deleted. No one wants that crap on his/her friends page.
  • If you insist on promoting a college-related service here, make sure Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is elligible for the service, and not just Texas A&M. Texas A&M and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi are two different universities; one is at College Station, the other in Corpus Christi.
Failure to comply with any of these usually results in a person's post being deleted.

Several students suggest that students visit http://www.pickaprof.com/ to learn more about various professors' track records. Students are still encouraged and free to ask questions about professors in the community, though.



The University logo is the emblem originally created in 1993, a graphic representation of three waves, or three gulls or a book, consisting of three parallel solid wave lines, with the top-most line having a curve resembling the letter “C” on the left-hand side. The University is property of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.
