would anyone be interested in a photoshop tutoring session?

Jewbacca told me if he had enough he would ask the higher ups to do a free session.


all I've learned so far are background and foreground colors, cloud rendering and lighting effects which are shown in this icon.

now I have learned lens flare:

Umm, sorry if i sound like a dumbass. But you are trying to get a free tutorial on photoshop? If thats the case, where would you host it? And what would be the topics?

Way to not be helpful at all there, Noel. I'm pretty sure bowie_firey wanted to know what topics would be covered at said tutorial - layers, gradients, working with text, etc.

Umm...that still does not answer my questions. Yeah, i wanted to know what was going to be discussed and taught at the tutorials. So once more, what is going to be taught at this free tutorial? I know photoshop, but can you go a little deeper into what you will discuss, please! Thanks!

I won't be doing the session. Jewbacca or someone else will be doing it but he has to ask the higher ups first to see if they give him the permission. And whatever topics they have is up to them.

yeah, i'm taking that class in the fall. i think i can wait to learn photoshop then. my boyfriend told me that in that class the teacher teaches you all about the software needed for that class...like...er photoshop. so i think i can wait. i suggest everyone take that photography class. it's supposed to be really fun.

I would suggest that, if you have a real photography interest, also, to take 3365 (Intermediate Photography, Black and White), I'm not sure who's going to be teaching it, but its usually offered in the spring and is pretty cool.

I think if you want to start a tutoring session you will need to prepare and outline specific topics and projects, and post that first. Finding people interested AFTER you do that shouldn't be a problem at all.

Otherwise, I would just stick to online tutorials, like this one:

Granted, most of you aren't aspiring celestial artists, but you get the point. There are a lot of these floating around on the internet.
