Notes: This takes place in an earlier, friends-locked story entitled Torn and makes references to another story (also friends-locked) named Shadows of All I Have Created, in which Ben, Brian's lover, meets Brian's family. More importantly, he meets Brian's brother, Trenton, who also happens to be Brian's former lover. Apparently, Tren's not giving Bri up without a fight and Ben walks in on Bri and Tren kissing. Ben runs away. This is some of the aftermath from Brian's point of view. Oh, and when Tren mentions Requiem, that's his band, Requiem for a Dream.
For visual aids, Tren is Jared Leto as Hephaistion in Alexander and Brian is Chris Kane as Paul in Her Minor Thing.

She had caught these two delinquents fighting in a corridor. She had nothing against some vamp/Fae tiffs, because most fairies were so damn annoying with their aura-changing wings and bloodthirsty unicorns. But this was her school and she tolerated no violence on school property... unless there was a really good reason.

"Come on, Becca. She totally started it. She was being all weird and freaky. Then she just walked into me when I was hurrying to my 'history of the vampire world' class and made me drop my books. Then she was just going to walk on by and she didn't even say she was sorry!" Adelia told the blond woman who was their headmistress, who arched an eyebrow at the use of the nickname. Adelia was feeling pretty gutsy today.
