Welcome to Eternal Legend, a icon community dedicated to the "Tales of" series, by Namco. Every week, there are 3 challenges for our members to choose from:
Theme, a word will be given and iconmakers will have to protray that word in their icons.
Lyrical, a song will be listed, and iconmakers will have to use 2 or more words from the song in their icons.
Image, an image will be posted, and iconmakers will have to use any part of that image in their icons.
1. Must be a member to submit. Voting is open to the public.
2. All icon must be related to any one of the "Tales of" series.
3. You may only submit 3 icons.
4. The icon you submit must be made by you.
5. No fanart or doujinshi images allowed, unless you have premission to use it (which I must see).
6. Images that are allowed are official art, game art (screenshots), manga art, and novel art.
7. NO SPOILER IMAGES MAY BE USED! This will be strictly enforced.
8. Only take the icons after the contest and credit if you do.
New Rules/Changes as of 12/17/06
1. There will no longer be any tiebreakers. All ties will be broken by ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) almateria and/or darkenedsakura.
2. Iconists who have won two times in a row (eg, one person has won Week 30, then Week 31) are only then limited to submitting two icons. If they win the third week (eg, Week 32), they are limited to one icon. And if they win the following week (eg, Week 33), they cannot submit until that week is over. This rule will be strictly enforced.
- All icons submitted must be compatible with livejournal standards. 100x100 px. 40kb or less.
- Use a host that allows remote linking, such as Photobucket.
- In order to vote, reply to the screened post with your 3 favorite icons and one for the Special Category, in order of preference. Your choice for the SC must be different from your first three. The first place on your choice recieves 3 points, second place receives 2 points and third choice gets one point. The final placings will be decided on how many points each icon received.
