OOC description of Adara:
Adara is about 5'5" - not particularly short, but certainly not tall. She's thin, with delicate wrists and fine-boned hands. Her skin has a golden olive tone, though she's paler than her heritage would suggest. (In India, it's described as "wheatish" - supposedly highly desirable in a potential spouse.) Her glossy black hair is just past her waist and is thick and slightly wavy. Usually, it's pulled back in a braid or a tight bun. She's got rich brown eyes that are just slightly too large for her face. Adara's wardrobe tends towards comfortable and modest salwar kameez suits and long, full skirts worn with a choli. She chimes as she walks - silver belled anklets and both wrists filled with bangles are part of her daily wear. Whenever possible, Adara will slip off her shoes and go barefoot. She almost never wears black, preferring bright oranges, mustard yellows, reds, and fuschia.
Ayria stands slightly taller than her mortal seeming - approximately 5'6" or so. Her hair is in a rich black braid to her knees, with golden glints, like highlights or glitter. Her skin can best be described as golden, and her eyes are only a few shades darker. Ayria wears clothing similar to that of her mortal guise, but tighter and somewhat more revealing. Her silver anklets shine in the fur above her hooves. Her horns are almost metallic gold.
At 15, she's entering her Junior year of high school - she skipped a year.
She comes from a traditional Indian family. She practices yoga, likes to read, and is a clever, if sometimes quiet conversationalist. She isn't the neatest roommate (homework takes precedence over dishes), but her things are cheerful and bright - orange and fuschia are her favorite colors.
The satyric sensuality holds true for Adara - the bedding she brought from home is silk, with plentiful soft pillows, bright colors, and shiny embroidery. If her roommate will allow it, she'll put up shimmering organza curtains around her bed, and will have candles and lanterns as her primary source of light any time she isn't studying. Instead of posters, she has textiles (pieces of saris, small bits of tapestry). In a prominent spot, she's got a photo of her family, and a painting of Krishna and Radha.
