Ok, so I was only able to play for a little bit tonight. I played with Alan and Eva De Smet's family. I swear, Alan is the weirdest sim I have ever had. Ever. He has taken to running. Everywhere. All the time. He runs to turn off the tv, then runs to check out a new kitchen chair, then runs to pick up the baby from the crib. Then he runs (with the baby) to the refridgerator for a bottle. He runs to bed, to pee, to work, everywhere. It's very weird. And Eva has somehow become almost entirely nocturnal. Their teenage son is antisocial, but the baby likes just being held all the time. They are a strange family.

I played last night for a very short time. I played with Alan and Eva De Smet's family. They currently have one son off at college, one at home and a baby. Because they are in my sim neiborhood, all of their children are boys. While I played their child grew into a teenager. He's a total dork. He dresses like a dork, can't handle messes and always wants to play video games. He really wants a handheld video game system. Eventually he'll get one. They also have a baby. Alan had this tendancy to put the baby under the table and things like that, but he got a promotion and has stopped doing that. He's made friends with Michael through their job. The most exciting news for them, however, was that they now have a new maid. They didn't have to call and demand one, she just started showing up. Her predicessor, Lucy, died in their living room (or rather, she wouldn't leave and I had to kill her). The new maid is better than the old one. Now we just have to deal with Lucy's ghost. Anyhow, I'm pleased that they are doing well.

Erik Moves In

Tonight I got to play a little. I decided to play with Erik. He had moved in, but had no furniture or anything yet. So I got him some furnishings (he has a thing for art). Then he met Eva and Heather. He and Heather talked quite a bit. Later that day she called him on the phone and they talked about handcuffs and kissing. It was weird.

Davenports Having a Baby!

I played with the sims for a little while last night. The only family I got to play with was Ben and Jenn Davenport. Guess what? Jenn is having a baby! They are very cute about it. They also managed to mend a few friendships. For some reason Ben refuses to cook using the oven, which pretty much leaves him to eat cereal and tv dinners. Jenn, thus, does most of the cooking. Ben does like to dance. A lot. And he kinda sucks at it (nerdy white guy dancing). Oh well. So that's about it for now. I'm hoping to play a little tonight before I leave for Origins tomorrow. I'll update if I do!
