Warning, image heavy!
Hai guys =D
SO FIRST OF ALL thankyou all for all your nice comments on my other two surgerys OMFG it makes me happy and joyful and want to surgery ALOT. I didn't reply to most of them because school has eaten my life! I hope i didn't come across as standoffish D= Anyway I will be replying to all my comments now on this new post and hopefully forever so yes.
I SWEAR I AM NICE!!
And also, all my photos of myself are bad because I start sewing at like 9 at night and generally finish around 4 in the morning so I'm tired and my hair is bad but I swear I'm not as ugly as my photos make me seem XD I should get people to actually take my photos instead of taking them in my written on mirror haha! Expect all of the next surgeries to be that way!
Finally I LOOOOOVE vivfromage and ninjatoshiba! They're both so creative and their surgery's inspire me! And so cute to!
ANYWAY I have made ALOT of surgerys yay! And I wanted to post them here double yay!
SO I went to goodwill and found this AYEMAZING Sherlock Holmes t-shirt and was like MINE.

( and turned it into this... )
Also I type alot. Sorry D=

I bought this thermal shirt around Christmas without trying it on first (oops). When I finally did put it on, I realized it was waaaaaaaaaaaay too short and looked awful. So I finally put it to some use by destroying another old thermal shirt and fixing this one up!

When I was about 7, i joined a fan club for the beano comic (a british comic full of misbehaving young boys and girls if you didn't know) and they sent me a t-shirt i could wear as a dress. it still does not fit, so i changed it slightly....

i got bored... so i turned a top i adore but had otherwise been using as pajamas (the image came from the internet!):
into an extremely wearable tube top. i took in the sides so it was fitted, then sewed down the top, all by hand, and i'm extremely proud of myself as i had no prior experience and I didn't really keep any of the shape from the original :D tadaaaaa!

i almost forgot the before picture, oops. the picture was taken after i had already made a cut down the front. i took this white shirt with sequin neckline and turned it into a half cardigan. i un-stitched and redid the collar, changed the neckline, and added a button closure. and i did this without a sewing machine cause it's still broken :/ ( before and after )

I know on the community info it says not to but... Hi, I'm new to this community! ^__^
I couldn't find this in the memories, so I thought I'd just add it. I know most of you guys probably aren't interested in using PVC but in case anyone is it's important to know this before you try and use a sewing machine on it and it all screws up like it did for me >.<
( Long story short.... )
Anyways I did a bit of research and it turns out you need a special non-stick foot and a special non-stick plate for the pvc not to stick on the machine. Being a student I am completely skint as we say here and desperately researched s'more and found out that you don't have to buy several sewing machine bits:
1. Put masking tape over the bottom of the foot, leaving out the bit that the thread goes through on it obv.
2. Put kitchen paper (or whatever you call it where you are) underneath the fabric. Once it has sewed you can soak the stitch with a damp sponge and sort of scrape the bits out of the stitch.
Et voila :)
xx
