online chat discussions between me and people and the voices which sleep deprivation invite to the party suggest either sweet tomatoes or YC's. iirc they will both set you back about ten bucks; less if you just get a pine float and shoot the breeze. I have a fierce hunger for some sushi. I was thinking Pacific Seafood Buffet  on Arizona and Elliot. They have decent sushi and sashimi as well as some other "Chinese" food, a Mongolian grill, crab legs, and some American stuff in case sushi isn't your deal. Any objections?

Someone suggested Joe's real BBQ for dinner, and I wholeheartedly agree it would be fantastic. to facilitate this I am pushing the movie viewing time back a bit and we can meet at Joe's around 5pm. (or later, if people want to push it back more...)

So this Thursday May 21, at my place, we are going to have a summer super-terrible-bad movie marathon. We are going to watch Starship Troopers, then Starship Troopers 3: Marauder, and then for those with real guts and insomnia Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation or for sissy's who need a decent plot we could watch some Roughnecks: Starship Trooper Chronicles. Gathering will begin at 5pm, with the movies prompltly starting at 5:30 (although with movies like these it really doesn't matter when you show up). Alternatively we could have a THEM pavlov dinner beforehand, but it would have to be a bit earlier than unsual. You can bring food before hand and eat too.

Getting to my place is pretty easy. Coming from the 60 turn South on Greenfield, go to Warner, turn left on Warner and then take the first left immediatly. When you get to the gate you can use the box to dial my house (its under Lozano) and I can let you into the neighborhood. 

I will post a locked entry the day of with a mapquest and my cellphone number. Anyone who is bad ass enough to come is welcome, please post here if you are coming as I would like preliminary headcount.
