Hi guys! Well, it's been a while. The show's supposed to start up in September, as I'm hearing, so I've taken the liberty of spicing up the profile page. Take a look if you can, and tell me what you think! I'm also thinking of putting up a... well, to put it frankly, a less boring community layout, possibly with alternating headers of last season's judges/performers. (It may take a while to figure out just how to do that, but I'm sure I'll manage something.)
You guys did mention that you liked this one; I'm just wondering if you'd prefer something more SYTYCD-oriented, not something this generic (yet pretty).
And this isn't layout related, but during the discussion post for the American S5, it was mentioned that S6 is starting up in September, as is SYTYCD: Can S2? Weeeell, if that's the case, some of us might be overdosing on dance every week, in the event that the Can. performance show is on Tuesday, and America's is on Wednesday. That's... a lot of dancing.
(If this is old news, my excuse is that I'm way behind on the times, so feel free to whip me for being a lazy mod.)
Anyway, that's it from me. I hope you're all having a great summer. ♥

Two Canadian programs broke into the Top 20 list for the first time: So You Think You Can Dance Canada (No. 14, with 1.4 million viewers), and Flashpoint (No. 18, with 1.3 million). Corner Gas drew more than a million viewers a week as well, for its swan-song season. Corner Gas is now closed, but So You Think You Can Dance Canada and Flashpoint are expected to return.
Yesterday was the big kick-off event for the new season of So You Think You Can Dance at The Nokia Theatre in L.A. - Past contestants: Joshua Allen, Comfort Fedoke, Mark Kanemura, Katee Shean, and Lauren Gottlieb along with judges/choreographers: Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman, and Mandy Moore were in attendance.
ZackTaylor.ca got an exclusive interview with all of the people above on what each of them is up to now, and what we can look forward to this upcoming season - Plus we got some wicked dance lessons!!

Earlier today I had a fun little dance session with season one So You Think You Can Dance Canadacontestant & 4th place runner-up, Natalli Reznik!!
She showed me some crazy dance moves, and gave me some insight for what people can do to make it through the auditions this year - Have a look, and please don't make fun of my "unique" style...

Get ready to dance again Canada!
CTV just announced today that So You Think You Can Dance Canada has been green-lit for a second season!
Last season, approximately 2,500 hopefuls busted a move for the judges during the first-ever audition tour, ultimately crowning Montreal’s Nico Archambault as Canada’s first-ever, favourite dancer. This year, CTV and Danse TV Productions are warming up for another cross-country search for the next Canada’s Favourite Dancer.
Audition details to be announced soon...stay tuned!
