I've been vidding for a few years now and have also been a huge SW fan since '77. This would be my first SW vid and I have absolutely no idea why it took me so long to do this. Anyways, the inspiration for this fanvid was the Deceived cinematic trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic, a upcoming massive online game by Bioware. When I watched it a couple of weeks back it totally blew me away and I thought I could have some fun with it.

AHHHH. Someone on youtube has stolen my vid (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ue2cHSQnmM&feature=related) and won't take it off. They're ignoring my request to delete the video and delete my comments.
Can you guys help me take down this video? If more people comment on it maybe he or she will take it off. I tried not to make a big deal of it, but it's really really annoying.

An overview of Palpatine's seduction of Anakin to the dark side throughout the prequel trilogy. Pairings: Palpatine/Anakin and Anakin/Padme. This is a dark tribute to their relationship, and to the emperor's wonderfully twisted, manipulative ways. I don't usually ship this pairing, but I heard this song and the idea struck me, and I found myself loving it more and more while making this video. To clarify, the POV in the chorus is Palpatine's, and the rest is Anakin's.
This is my first completed fanvid in three years, and my first time using Vegas Pro. I'm very happy with how it turned out despite having some difficulties in making it (if only I had a stronger processor) Please ENJOY!!!

Three years ago I posted a fanvid tribute to Anakin Skywalker, called Unforgiven. I uploaded it to youtube who removed the audio due to copyright claims (link here if anybody is interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrQ0W3qLKeA. I lost the original video but thanks to someone who stole my vid and uploaded them to youtube as their own (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ue2cHSQnmM) I managed to extract the full vid from youtube, but sadly the quality is pretty bad.
This is actually my very first fanvid and I worked a long time on it, and naturally the link from three years ago don't work anymore. Does anybody who by any chance still have the video on their computer be willing to upload it for me?

Hi all, first post, can't believe I haven't seen this place before now. Definitely going to be lurking some, but I could really use some help at the moment, too.
I'm looking for a great vid that was on Youtube until a month or so ago. It was obidala, to the song "Love Song Requiem" (from the "Beauty and Tragedy" album, not "More Than This") by 'Trading Yesterday' and the link was taken down due to, I believe, copyright issues or something similar. If anyone knows who made the vid so I can contact them, or better yet has a copy that they'd be willing to let me download directly, or knows anything about it at all, I will be deeply grateful; I loved this vid.
Please let me know if y'all can help me out!!!

ETA: I got my answer a few days ago via a post on another community. The vid in question is by smokeyfizz and gonevidder; it was on youtube until their account was suspended and has not been re-uploaded. Thanks to anyone who pondered on my request!

Ya'll mind helping me out? This "person" stole my "Weight of the World" video on youtube and is claiming it as her own.
She must be sitting on her computer, because once anyone posts anything about it - she deletes the comment and blocks the user.

You may or may not know that I am maintaining Darth Vidder's youtube site, which for the most part has been easy, most people are respectful there and comment well, I rarely have to remove comments from any of the vids. His Numa Numa video has skyrocketed in the last 6 months or so, to the point that in the next couple of days it will hit over a million views. So to cut to the chase there is a user who made sever Very rude comments in a row and so I banned him, but I also went to his site and found this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afN6OJwYBYg, which is comprised of footage stolen from Numa Numa Yoda #9 and Oh lightsabers #21 and I have posted a comment there using Darth Vidder's account asking him to take it down. I dont want to bring up any of the history of Why Darth Vidder is not around, I just want to get him to take it down. So if you care, whether about Darth Vidder's video or the clip theft in general please let http://www.youtube.com/user/vaatrax know what you think. Thanks in advance for your support in this.

yeah so i gots me a new laptop and therefore all my SW clips have been lost to the world. i just got vegas and would really love to make new sw vids but all i really have are buffy and final fantasy clips (my youtube name is josephandtoby, by the way). i tried limewire and there are no high quality versions of EP. II & III.
so, as annoying as this question is, does anyone have the clips of attack of the clones and revenge of the sith?
because i would be eternally grateful.

Hey Guys!
Alright well we , as well as Gonevidder have decided to create a brand new SW vidding community. Mainly because we wanted to have full control over the posts, layouts, publication of the community etc. The mods here have disappeared, so we made the new one.
We are still continuing with the monthly challenges. The April challenge can be found here.

You can find everything you need there. Also, we will no longer be using this LJ account but instead our original SmokeyFizz account.
