Does anyone come here anymore?

So, I finally wrote a sequel of sorts to Lost & Found, if anyone's at all interested. It's posted at svufiction.com here. That is all.

ok, i just joined the livejournal community... i'll have to look around coz i have no idea what the whole journal thing is about, i just really wanted to post a message!
I can't even remember how i stumbled across this page but i want to say i've really loved the stories that have been posted for the ficathon. Memory Extant and Parallel Lines are two that come to mind as favourites but there were actually quite a few more that i thought were great.
What i needed to find out was- if this journal was linked to a standard sort of mailing list... or if there is a mailing list for people who are writing SVU fic? I'm writing something at the moment and will need a beta eventually (but i'm slow so not for the next month or so!) but i've found with other fandoms that i have written in before that it's always nice to chat to other people that write too...
anyway, that's enough from me. Any ideas would be appreciated,

A couple of ya'll have asked me about this, so I figured I make a post here just in case anyone else was having trouble with it.

You do not have to include every pairing/character that was assigned to you in your story. The list of pairings/characters that you were assigned is just a list of things the person you are writing for wouldn't mind seeing. Just go with whatever you're comfortable writing, but make sure that it matches up with at least one thing on the list.

I totally forgot to mention this yesterday, so here goes. If you get a few weeks into the challenge and life gets a little frelled and you need to drop out, it's okay. Just let me know before April 14th - drop out amnesty day - and I'll get a back up writer to take up your challenge. Obviously if you really need to drop out after the 14th there's nothing I can do about it, but it'd be really nice if you could let me know by then. Please don't use this get out of jail free card just cause you wake up one morning and decide you don't feel like participating any more, cause that'd just be mean and uncool and would force me to hunt you down and spork you. *looks all menacing like*

Secondly, Beta Readers
If you really want to participate, but don't have the time to write, there's still a way. Sign up to be a beta writer. You won't get to request a fic, but you'll be helping out the writers.

This here is the community for the first ever Law & Order: SVU Ficathon.

For those who don't know how this works, it goes something like this; You fill in the form below with your requests for fics you'd like to see, and those you'd be willing to write, then email it to me. At the end of the two week sign up period (March 6th - 21st) I collect all the forms, match your request up with someone who's willing to write it and match you up with a request you're willing to write and send out the assignments. You come up with an idea from the request, write it within the time limit and post it (or a link to it) here come the due date, April 30th. Once everyone has posted, I'll gather all the fics up and archive 'em at a site made specifically for this ficathon.

Wildcard - Cragen/Fin your OTP? Think Casey/Munch belong together? This is the place for your request. Go as wild and crazy as you want. (the gen rule also applies here.)
Character - Here's where you can request character centric fic. You can chose up to two characters here.
NC-17 - Are you okay with there being smut in your fic?
Spoilers - Haven't seen season five? In denial about "Loss?" Here's where you can let your writer know what not to spoil you for.
