Hello,
I was concerned about the recent news of Geocities being shut down at some point in the future. I don't want Elmer Studios (which is hosted on Geocities) to completely disappear from the internet, so I have mirrored it here: http://www.heavens-feel.com/elmer/
Points to be made: I didn't make Elmer Studios; the Fauth brothers did. They deserve the credit for the many years of epic lulz they have kindly given to all of us, and all due props are belong to them. |

As many of you have probably heard by now, Yahoo will be shutting down the Geocities web hosting service sometime in the next few months.
As fewer of you know, my own MSTing page, Mystery Science Freezer is on Geocities.
As a consequence, I am now in the process of moving the page to LJ; specifically mst3kfreezer.
Granted, this is something I was going to do years ago, but a combination of circumstances (mostly my own laziness) put things off. There's only the four MSTings up right now (and those are my older ones), but everything will be moved over, eventually.
Just a heads up, for those who care about such things. :) |

Episode Five and Episode Six (the concluding episode) are available at http://www.heavens-feel.com/blog
This makes the podcast complete.
Perhaps at some point in the future I'll adapt "Issei Strikes Back" and "Hellstorm Evangelion Series Two". But for now I'm going to rest.
I also timed this. It comes out to 54.47 so if you want to put the tracks on cd for a "book on cd", you certainly can.

This fanfic became one of Elmer Studios' most celebrated mstings and is infamous all over the internet.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hellstorm Evangelion, I've been turning it into a "book on tape" (read: podcast/series of mp3s).
You can listen to and/or download them at
http://heavens-feel.com/blog
I hope this is okay to list here. If it's not, I'll remove it.

Hey there... I was just wondering if anyone else was having trouble logging onto C-Ko's lately? Is the chat server at irc.mizuumi.net down? Or am I using the wrong ports (6667,75000)? |

Anyone in the Bay Area want to do a MST script for the Postal movie? I'm too terrified to try it alone. |
|
I used to write a lot of MSTs back in the day. I went by the handle of Ksa way back. I only just finally finished college (hence the disappearance from MSTing), and I hurt that SVAM is gone.
I miss you guys. |

not sure if most of you remember me, time and things kept keeping me distant from ever finding my way back, but now that things are slowing down a little, i'm finding my way and saw the community.
I used to frequent svam way back in the day around 98-03/04. The name is Lise, or i had many other nicknames. I knew alot of you guys personally, i just hope all of you are doing well.
I've found myself moving from new york to florida, and i've been in florida for the last two years, with a job as an area manager at a department store, and living with grandma.
im hopefully going to be keeping a random journaling here on this journal name, and i hope to hear from a few of you. i hope all of you are well. |

Happy April Fool's Day!
Zoogz and I have just finished our latest MSTing (No really, we did! This isn't a prank, honest!) and we're planning to finally update our webpage tomorrow but in the meantime, I've posted the MST to MediaMiner at the following link:

Any comments, including criticism, edit, and revision ideas are gratefully appreciated.
Sincerely,

Well, it's been a year since the last update and my submissions have pretty much dried up, so this news may not bee too shocking.
EWIC's effectively going into Archive Mode: The site will still be up, but I will no longer be taking new submissions. 12 Years is an awesome run for, well, anything on the Internet really, plus, I've bee wanting to channel my creative mojo into other things.
Also, this LJ community will still be up, so if you want to post links to new MSTings to show off or review, you can do so here.
Also, any interesting MST3K flavored news can go here too. It looks like the other members of MST3K are following Mike, Bill, and Kevin back to the riffing scene with Cinematic Titanic It seems to retain the more classic MST feel of grade b shlock and off course, having the riffers "on screen" as shadows. :P
I've met a lot of new friends and had a lot of fun with SVAM/EWIC, and I hope y'all have enjoyed the trip too. Bear in mind this isn't a "Leaving the Interweb Forever" thing, just moving on to new projects. And of course I'll be here on LJ as well.
Thanks you, everyone.
