Q: What is the Smallville Diaries?
A: The Smallville Diaries is a fiction in the form of live journals. Each character has a journal that they post in. Each journal is a WIP that can be interacted with, if the reader wishes to, or they can just be read as a daily fiction. We are not an RPG.
Q: When did it start?
A: The Smallville Diaries officially began on August 22, 2003 with the creation of Clark Kent's live journal. This community is for discussing the live journals of Smallville characters. We will also make announcements, updates three times a week with links to character posts, and extras like pictures, polls, episode ads, e-mails.
Q: What characters from the show have a live journal here?

Q: Where can I send feedback?
A: All feedback can either be posted here at the community, or can be sent to each writer of the character live journal. Feel free to talk here at the community about character posts.
Q: What are the entries based on?
A: Each entry will be based on episodes and original plot. Each episode is plotted out, and structured to unfold over real time. We try to time structure the episodes in real time with added hours, days sometimes even weeks in between to add to the reality. This way we can get a glimpse into the everyday life of the Smallville characters.
Q: Will any new character live journals be added to the Diaries 'verse?
A: No.
Q: Are there other characters that interact with the Smallville Diaries characters?

Q: I wasn't here from the start. Is there anyway I can play catch up?
A: Yes. There are several versions of the character live journals in readable fiction formats. Links to those can be found here on the EXTRAS page at the official site.

Q: Any warnings I should know about?
A: Any and all pairings may be involved in some way or another, so that includes both het and slash! Entries range from rated G to rated NC-17 though each entry will not have the rating posted you can expect that they will fall into any one of the ratings. Central pairings are Clex and Chlana.
Also, when reading the journals entries we have made it so that within the context of the story entries are sometimes marked friends locked or private. The friends locked entries will still have comments turned on, but the private ones will have comments turned off. You may still comment here at the community on those private entries if you wish. Those entries will also have out of entry text within square brackets [ ]. Anything within the square brackets is out of entry, and only there as a guide.
