Suspiciously Slashy:

Original slash generally applies to completely original fiction in which two males or two females are in a relationship or together. Please do not use real life singers, actors, Myspace celebrities, etc in your stories.

We, the moderators, have created several original characters for our stories. If you are lacking inspiration or need a quick start for one of your stories, feel free to use any of the characters shown in the link below. You may pair them with each other or any of your own original characters. Click Here

! Everything has been explained in these rules on how to properly post a story with a correct introduction. If you do not follow these posting rules, we will to re-submit your story with the proper introduction. Without these rules, it will make it that much harder for the members of this community to read the stories. Rules help the community run smoothly and in the end, they make everyone happy as long as they are followed.

1. Firstly, before you press the 'submit' button, please look over your story to make sure it is free of grammatical and spelling mistakes. If possible, have someone else look over the story beforehand as well - everyone makes mistakes, but when we double-check our work those mistakes can be filtered out easily. If you are unable to have a friend beta (edit) your story, message one of the moderators and she will either beta the story herself, or have someone else available to beta for you.

2. Every story submitted must include the simple introduction below – feel free to add additional things like dedications, etc, just make sure it has all of these things as well.

Title: (Please put the title of your story here, as well as in the subject of your post.)
Author: (must contain the lj user tag of your journal.) *
Rating: (this tells the reader what level of sexuality or maturity they can expect in the content of the story.)
POV: (This stands for "Point of View". Please state either which character’s point of view the story is told in, or whether it is in first, second or third POV.)
Summary: (A brief description of what your story is about will do for this section. This can be a quote from the story or a separate description.)
Disclaimer: (If you use song lyrics or a quote as your story title or cut text, please give credit here.)
Author Notes: (Any quick notes about your story go here. This section is optional.)

Warnings: If you wish to warn readers about anything offensive/mature, in your fic. [Abuse, rape, mpreg, graphic sex, etc]

If you'd like a easy way to make your introduction look like the example above, copy and paste the contents of the box below and simply fill in the blanks with the required information.

* To create an lj username tag, copy and paste the code from the box below and add your username in between the quotation marks.

3. Your story (not the introduction, which should be in plain site and not under a cut) needs to be under an lj cut, or you could link to another post in another journal with the link code. If you do not know how to make an lj cut, copy and paste the code from the box below into your post - if you wish for the cut to say something specific, put whatever it is you want to say in between the quotation marks.

4. If you are posting a chapter story, please include links in your post (before the lj-cut) to each previous chapter of your story, using the linking code. No matter where the previous chapters are located, if they are all compiled in a separate post or in a memories section, you still must link to it using the linking code - we cannot accept posts with simply raw URLs copied into them. To make the linking code, copy and paste the code in the below box into your post. Put the url for the previous chapter(s) in the first set of quotations, and the name of the chapter where it says “Title/Chapter”. The code will make a link, that when clicked, will open the linked chapter in a new window - do not mess with the part of the code that says target="_blank".

5. If the physical appearance of a post (font size, color, etc) has been messed with very much, we cannot accept your post. Please don't sacrifice the legibility of your post to make it look cool.

6. If you take the time to read a story, please take a moment and leave a comment on the story. It will brighten the author's day. Constructive criticism is appreciated and welcomed, but please do not be abusive or rude or you will be banned from the community.

7. Our own mod

silentpoetry1 will draw and photoshop your original slash characters if you want her to. She can do it within three days if she doesn't have any requests/stories that she needs to work on. She photoshopped our banner and drew our original slash characters. Leave her a message over at

ssbuddy, by e-mail or in her own personal journal.
