"MSG Kevin Wise"
Remember "MSG Kevin Wise", the Green Beret who gave Jared and Jensen SF challenge coins and a letter of appreciation from Gen. Petraeus?

It looks like he's not what he says he is.

I googled the names and found much of the same information these guys found -- including him showing up at an LOTR convention and claiming to be a wounded Iraq soldier, claiming to be security for the Dixie Chicks, and being accused of selling autographs that were not authentic.

The good news is that the REAL SF guys are arranging for the boys to get REAL SF coins. Various authorities have been notified as well. And hopefully, justice will be served.

I was going to lock this post, but I think people need to know about this so it won't happen again.

that man was caught on many, many a camera though. it should survey as fine evidence against him. (i'd say, let the fangirls at him first. there might not be enough left for a trial!)

This is horrible! Jared and Jensen were so touched as was the whole audience at Chicago. I can't believe people can be such liars and fakes. This just breaks my heart.

This makes me really sad. I was there and the look of awe in Jared and Jensen's faces when this was happening was amazing.
Even the Creation's people were dupped because it seemed like they 'knew' him personally.

OMG this is infuriating, I feel so bad for the boys. Jared was almost in tears, this whole thing blows. I wanna hug them both :(

Either way, I would love some clarification from Creation as to this whole situation. Duped or not, it would only seem appropriate for them to make some kind of statement.

I just read the entire thread you linked - damn, i'm so super super pissed. I'm mad. I'm glad though that the real SF members are trying to rectify his actions. And I hope "MSG Kevin Wise" will get what he deserves for impersonating a SF member and getting profit from it.
