There are times when he feels wild. Like the things he hunts, the things he takes down with his bare hands. Senses high, adrenaline higher, he hits his knees in the woods, the thing he's stalking is whothefuckcares where and he howls. Straight up into the goddamn sky, he howls, releases everything since. Then. In one long, solemn note and he's never felt freer. Braver. Never felt more sick to his stomach.

There are times when he feels wild. Times when he wishes for a silver bullet to pierce his heart, like the things he hunts.
