About:Welcome to [info]super_awards. This community is to award icon-makers for outstanding Supernatural icons.
This community was created by [info]filmobsessed137, was then modded by [info]carmendove and is now being maintained by [info]spuzz.



1) First join the community to get posting access.

2) Each month a new session will begin. Nominations are accepted from the 1st through the last day of the month. (31st, 30th, or 29th).

3) You may nominate two icons per category. No more than 5 icons by the same user per round, and no more than 5 icons made by yourself per round.

4) If you do nominate yourself, you must nominate one icon by someone else for each one of your own.

5) The 1st of the following month voting for the previous month's set will be posted. Voting takes place the 1st through the 15th.

5) Winners will be announced (around) the 16th.



1) Create a post within the community containing each category in bold behind a lj-cut.

2) Under each category's name post nominated icon(s) and the maker of the icon. Remember: You may nominate up to two icons per category. No more than 5 icons by the same user per round, and no more than 5 icons made by yourself per round.

3) Do not hotlink. Upload the nominated icon to your own server. Photobucket is good, free, and I run the graphics here off it.

4) Make only one post. Additional posts will be deleted. If you want to add more noms, just edit your first post.

5) It is fine to leave categories empty. However, if you wish to add on or edit a previous post use the edit feature.

6) Be sure to alert the icon maker that you have nominated them. If they do not wish to be nominated remove them from your nomination post.

1) When the voting poll is put up, just select the number of the icon you like from the pull-down menu.

2) Do not vote for yourself. But if you truly think your icon deserves to win then just leave that category blank.

All The Same: Black & White Icons (a splash of color is allowed)
Driver Picks The Music: Lyrical/Text Icons
Shut Your Cakehole: Textless Icons
That's My Boy: Funny/Humorous Icons
Dimpled Smile: Happy/Excited Icons
The Walls Crumble: Sad/Frustrated/Angry Icons
Children Like You: Power Icons (visions, telekineses, etc)
Tools of the Trade: Weapon/Symbol/Object Icons (anything used to detect/weaken/fight/kill/etc. supernatural things)
Unknown Forces: Special Category (changes every month)
