Hiya, I'm not new here, but I've been more of a lurker than an active member.

Anyway, this is my first post over here ^^.

Been to see Sunshine twice at the cinema... and loads of times too. Adore it!

Can anyone point me in the right direction of Artists and Tracks used in the film, since the music is amazing. I got the post about Underworld - To Heal - so I know about that track... but others?

Heyyy Sunshine fans!!!

So I saw that the USA DVD release is January 8, 2008 (my little brother's birthday - also the birthday of Elvis and David Bowie. Interesting.)

I just got the new Underworld album, "Oblivion with Bells", and "To Heal" is on there. That's the music from the end, with Capa igniting the bomb and the whole fire-death-orgasm-beauty-union-with-the-universe Cillian-Murphy-porn moment, followed by Capa's sister and nephews on Earth seeing the results of the Icarus crew's sacrifice. Love it. But I can't seem to find a release date for the score itself. Anyone know?

I'm not a huge fan of the song, but I thought it fit the movie in a way.

I saw "Sunshine" again last night at 10:25...first time was Monday night at 7:45. I could barely stand up after the first time, my legs were shaking, my heart pounding, my face totally soaked in tears. I thought about the movie all week until I couldn't bear it anymore and had to go again! I absolutely believe this is the best/most important movie I've seen all year and possibly in my top five ever. Next day off, I'm going again! I love each of the characters but I have to say my favorites are tied between Searle, Kaneda, Mace, Cassie and Capa. (Capsie fan personally.) I've read all the character backstories and love debating all the philosophical subtexts and metaphors, so I'm always game for getting into all that.

I also joined sunshinefan.com to be able to continue my obsession, and I just found this community. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea when the DVD will be released here in the States? Or have any idea when the John Murphy/Underworld score will be released?

I just saw the movie today. I thought the wide release was last Friday and threw a huge fit (in my head) because it was... not the wide release.

ANYWAY

Great movie. Amazing director. And the soundtrack was fabulous. So, help me out here. What is the name of the song that starts the end credits?

when i was seeing the film on saturday, i caught a glimpse of a young lady wearing what appeared to be a sunhine track jacket-- completely black with orange contrast stitching & the sunshine logo on the back. didn't get a chance to catch up with her after the show, but i'm going out of my mind googling the possibility of this being official merchandise sold somewhere...

anyone know anything about shirts and whatnot available?
