Community Profile

Summer of '78 is an anonymous fic exchange for The Professionals fandom. Everyone who participates must agree to write a fic to receive a fic in exchange. All participants must be at least 18 years of age.

Assignments will go out no later than December 24th.
Fics are due on the 20th of May.
Fics will be posted throughout the month of June.


Submissions

1. Completed assignments should be submitted to queenbamfie [at] hotmail [dot] com in Word or Wordpad documents. If your fic contains italics or bold text then please include your own HTML tagging and if you're writing in Word, I beg of you, turn off smart quotes (for those of you who don't know what "smart quotes" are; they are the curvy quotation marks as opposed to the straight ones "like this" … livejournal tags do not recognise smart quotes and so they refuse to accept the HMTL tags containing them and your italics and bold text options won't work). To do this go to the Tools menu --> choose the Auto Correct option --> click on the Auto Format As You Type tab --> in the section called "Replace as you type," clear the checkbox that says "Straight quotes with smart quotes."

2. All submitted fic should contain the following headers:

Author: (this is for my record keeping purposes only; I will remove your name from the headers before I post your fic to the community)
Recipient's name: (VERY VERY IMPORTANT)
