Hi, hi. I just joined this group earlier tonight! I bought the three volumes of Kichijouji licensed in the US and thought it was a cute series. I had a few questions. First off, the page for the series on Baka Updates labels the series as "Implicit shounen ai" but having read all the mangas out (in English) I didn't see it at all. (I was a little disappointed. ^^) I was wondering if it was more so in the Drama CDs? Does anyone know where one can find translations for the Drama CDs? And lastly, does anyone know of doujinshi for the series (like with Maki/Tarou <3)? When I finished reading it I was totally after Maki/Tarou fanfiction but couldn't find it anywhere. Sorry for being a bother (I don't know how yaoi friendly everyone here is but oh well)!!

Its been a few weeks since the drama starting airing in Japan. Has anyone here been able to see it, either in Japan or somewhere online? I've been keeping an eye out for anywhere to download it, but haven't seen it. I really want to check it out and see just how bad(wonderful?) it is (and just how fabulous Minagawa is!) xD The only thing I keep finding in searches is the short tv trailer/spot that was linked here several posts back.

Again, like with the PV, I accidentally stumbled upon some more news regarding the upcoming dorama.

This time it has to do with the theme for the series. It's going to be a cover of a song called "You're My Only Shinin' Star" originally sung by Nakayama Miho. This particular cover of the song will be sung by Thelma Aoyama. I found this bit of news on Tokyograph.

A few days ago I found myself randomly looking up fanlistings for Café Kichijouji de and discovered that there are in fact three fanlistings related to the series.

So, the news is true! A live-action TV drama for Café Kichijouji de is set to debut in Japan on September 29 of this year.

I don’t believe there was an official announcement in regards to who is actually who, (with the exception of Nakayama Emiri as Mina) but based on the picture my friend posted in her journal, I did my best to discern which actor went with which role. Please feel free to correct any mistakes I made or add information I have missed.

I have to admit I’m not sure that I like that Master was replaced with a woman, and it seems the roles of Tarou and Master have been combined into one person. I do plan on watching the drama by any means possible though because I really can’t develop an opinion without actually watching first. If anyone still lingers here, please share your thoughts and opinions in regards to this upcoming series.
