Subassan Onegai ♥?

You may have noticed that our layout pic has gone inactive here at

subassan_onegai, so us mods were wondering if anyone would like to make us a nice new one? :] We don't have any special requirements - just make sure it isn't too big, and that it uses the sidebar so we can have the community info and tags there. Or if you don't want to make a whole layout, even just a nice header would be good. ^^ And as extra incentive, I'll write something in return! If we get more than one submission we can have a little contest and I'll write a ficlet for the winner.

Comments here are screened, so please post a screengrab here, and a live preview would be great if possible! :]

Presents

I've just dowloaded the newest Duet scans, and I saw the members were talking about each other. And as far as I understand Japanese I think they were asked what would (or will??) they give for the other members for xmas.
Maybe there will be someone at Eden who will translate the whole articles, but I'm too curious to know what did Subaru and Yasu wanna give for each other~
So could someone help translating these little parts?

TV guide

Okay, I know I totally spam this community. ^_^;; I waited a little, but then I saw nobody was posting this, so I decided to post it anyway. So paaaaan already said that Yasu talked a little about 'Shibuyan' in the newest TV Guide, but now here are the scans. :)
Yasu's talking about that he hasn't bought a present for Subaru's Bday yet. (as paaaaan said, and as I understand Japanese a little bit.)
And in some of the scans Yasuba is 'together'. Here they are.

So, I'm back. XD Sort of. The idea for this came from the lovely

ichigohime aaaand

elyndys who is my 24/7 motivation to do fanart. Had some complications with this but it was done slightly faster than the usual months I take. I tried another style, didn't quite work out, went back to my comfort zone. XD Whetever, here it is.

(okay, looking at it again, ugggh. Need to add some texture to the floor, looks too smooth. but, my internet is crappy and I feel like taking the router and smashing it, so I'll probably do it later)

Oh. I forgot something important! I used this as reference.

Have you listened to the new songs from the new single yet?
I was listening to them the whole day.... and in Cinematic from 0:36 Yasu starts to sing..... and there's another voice and my first thought was it's definitely Subaru, but now I'm not that sure... ^_^;;

I'm sure everyone has already seen the 2nd ep. of Kanpani but I'm so bored and that's why I'm here again with screencaps. catface

I like the new show, Kanpani, I just think it's ~~very~~ a little bit short.

And the second ep was very funnny, ~~but again, too short~~. DD:

the latest janiben

Wohoo~ I watched Janiben's latest episode yesterday. And there was a little Yasuba love in it \o/ Well, maybe others don't think it's love.. but well there wasn't ANYTHING on janiben nowadays, so i'm happy for these moments too.
They were sitting on the left side at the back. It's my fave place for them together (L)

Yeah, i cutted Ryo out from both pictures actually..... he was holding Yasu's hand. But well, it doesn't matter.
In the first picture, the main thing -i think- is how they look at each other!! Owwn \o/ There's still love in their eyes, i tell you!! :D

Awh, nowadays, there aren't too many Yasuba moments, are there? ):
But there are some pics, and little things i have.. I don't know if i should post them.. They really aren't big things, but i'm too biased and i can be happy for thing like that ttoo : D What do you think?

I've just downloaded the Puzzle DVD's Menu video \o/ you can find it here: clickkkuu / i downlaoded the first one.
They play gorillas going to a cinema... And suddenly one gorilla starts to f*** another goriiii.. And guess who they are? X D OMG, Yasuba!!! : DD i fellll of my chair of laughing when i saw that xD It's so funny! You have to watch it tooo~~~

Drabble challenge, part the next!

You don't escape the glitter! ;) Well, it just wouldn't be fair if we didn't have a drabble challenge for Subaru's birthday too, so this time the (optional) theme is... pictures! :D You can either use that itself for a theme - for example, a piece of Yasu's wonderful art, or a photograph from a magazine shoot, or a photo Maru took as an offshot or in their private time... Or alternatively, you can choose a photographic prompt from one of the delightful pics under the cut!

( Help yourself~ )

Of course, I know they're all very familiar, but you're free to do whatever you like with them - you don't necessarily have to take them in context! ;) Tell a story about one of them (or as many as you like!) - tell us the story that should be behind them. ^_~ And if you have a favourite not shown here, feel free to write about that! In fact... write what you like, if you have a particularly pressing idea! We're not going to disqualify you, if you're bringing us drabbles! ♥

Birthday drabble challenge

Well, it's been Yasu's birthday in Japan for several hours already, so I thought we could have an early start on our celebratory drabble challenge! :]

I thought I'd keep things nice and simple and birthday-related, so the theme this time is: gifts and presents. Feel free to put this in any context you like, from the obvious to the lateral thinking, haha. Any setting or genre is welcome - AU, smut, future fic, silliness, mushy romance - but I'd just like to suggest we try and keep them fluffy, because Yasu is the last person who deserves angst on his birthday! XD

Good luck everyone! :D Remember, they don't have to be long or involved - even a sentence or two will do! - just let's have fun and celebrate Yasu's quarter century! :D
