The Submissive Slayer is made in response to the tortured_spike community. It's not any kind of protest or anything, it's just that Tortured Spike isn't my thing. Tortured Buffy is. I think Spike was way too abused on the show, and I prefer him dominant and growly and Buffy must be punished.

Allowed on this community: ANY fic, artwork or commentary in which Buffy is submissive/enslaved/etc. (allowed pairings below) These fics can go very dark and need to be placed under cuts with appropriate warnings. You may post consensual submissive/kinky fics, and you may post noncon fics. You can post fics where Buffy pretends to be a slave and fics where she actually is one. You can post fics where Buffy is a prisoner, abused, whatever. Have at it. Just make appropriate warnings because everyone's kink isn't the same.

Also, please note fics for this comm do not HAVE to be explicitly kinky. It can be subtext. As long as the vampire(s) she is with DOMINATE her and she SUBMITS. That's the only official requirement here. She doesn't HAVE to call him/them master necessarily. She doesn't HAVE to be whipped and chained (though it's nice if she is) etc. Simply they have to have the power and control and she DOESN'T whether voluntarily or involuntarily.

I also just added Faith as an allowable pairing, NO FAITH/BUFFY. Femslash is allowed if one of the vampires makes one of the slayers do it, but this isn't a Faith Dom Buffy or Buffy Dom Faith comm. And again, this is SUB slayer, so if you do a Faith pairing, FAITH has to be dominated, she has to submit or be broken or whatever. I buy it more with Buffy personally, but I think it's interesting with Faith also, so you can abuse her if you want too. :)

Pairings that are allowed:

Spike/Buffy, Angelus/Buffy, Spike/Angelus/Buffy (Angel is allowed with his soul, but he's got to be growly and dominant.)

Spike/Faith, Angel(us)/Faith, Spike/Angel(us)/Faith

(are we seeing the trend? I want Dominant growly vampires and submissive slayers here.)

My Philosophy on Buffy the character: Often in kinky fanfic Buffy is portrayed as a dominatrix, but I don't buy it personally. I don't believe she would ever dominate, period. She has too deep of a need to submit and please. Observe how desperately she wants her friends and watcher to approve of what she does, how desperately she tries to please every boyfriend she is with. Her dominance is only an outward reflection of her slayer-ness and has little to do with Buffy the girl.

She needs to submit, because that's where she finds her power. That is the place in which she can exist as the slayer and be unashamed of what she is and how much she enjoys the hunt. It's the gray area she needs to embrace.

RULES: (few and simple):

* Respect other members.

* You may only post the above listed pairings and Buffy MUST submit. period. I don't want a "buffy ends up dominating" fic or manip here. Buffy can START OFF trying to dominate, but she must lose and she must submit in the end.

* You may post fics, ficlets, drabbles, icons, manips, banners, commentary/analysis of Buffy as a submissive character. (debate is allowed with commentary/analysis, but the initial post cannot be anti-submissive Buffy, and should the posts turn abusive, abusive members will be warned and then banned if the abuse continues. You are allowed to abuse Buffy on this comm, not each other.)

* SPIKE CANNOT BE SUBMISSIVE. PERIOD. In S/B/A(us)fic this is a little bit more fluid since Spike might reasonably be a bit submissive toward Angelus, but I don't want Spike abused. * Please respect other people's Flists and put it under the cut. Describe what it is above the cut with appropriate warnings and then the fic/artwork/commentary below the cut. All artwork and fic must be below the cut whether it is worksafe or not.

At this point I'm not moderating access to this community because I could say adults only and check profile birthdates but minors lie about their age and frankly it's not my job to be an internet nanny. If you aren't of age, you shouldn't be reading shit that says it's NC-17. Period. BUT...I can't control that. Cause people will just lie to read what they want to read. It's the parent's job to control access, not mine.
