Over in the safe space that is vaginapagina, a mod note reminds members to be inclusive of all members, so saying 'ladies' or 'girls' is not acceptable.

	I run the women's centre at my university. A good percentage of our volunteers are male. Therefore, when I send out my mass emails to the volunteers, I refrain from opening with "Hello, ladies!"
