Recently here at Deep 6 I filled in for Simon Fraser, and penciled his long running 2000AD comic “Nikolai Dante.” Simon inked it and a sample of the results are displayed below. Reanimated clockwork zombies.
That’s all I’ll say about the story.

Things just keep growing here at D6 -- new projects, new rooms, new studio mates, new guests. We call it "work", but it's more like "play". Yay comics!
Speaking of new, here's a recent clip of a typical day in the studio. Enjoy!

I’ve busy for the past 8 months or so working on something:
Ray Bradbury’s
Fahrenheit 451
The authorized Adaptation
Introduction by Ray Bradbury
Published by Hill and Wang
Fifty-five year ago Ray Bradbury, one of America’s greatest writers, envisioned one of the world’s most unforgettable dystopian futures. Thinking is dangerous; trust only the state; turn in your neighbors; and, most important, burn books.
Artist Tim Hamilton, with Bradbury, has turned this modern masterpiece into a gorgeously imagined graphic novel. The world of Guy Montage, a career fireman for whom kerosene has become perfume, has been translated by Hamilton into unforgettable full-color art that uniquely captures Montag’s awakening to the evil of government-controlled thought and the inestimable value of philosophy, theology, and literature. Fully depicting the brilliance and force of Bradbury’s canonic and beloved masterwork, Ray Bradbury’s “Fahrenheit 451” is an exceptional, haunting work of graphic literature.

Some of you may have been a tad concerned by how we left our hero Nikolai Dante at the end of the 'Amerika' saga.
Fear not, as you can see below...he bounces back admirably

The Deep six LJ has been silent for far too long!
It’s not that we have nothing to show, we’ve just been too busy working on projects.
I’m almost done illustrating and coloring a Graphic Novel colored for Ray Bradbury. I’m posting some pages here (in various stages of color completeness) for all to see.
This project has not yet been announced so you’ll just have to guess what book this could be. I hope that by the New Year I can tell you all about it.
Later!
