Okay happy summer campers! Summertime is here and that means a huge thing for us who are stuck in the house! So to attract new members, I have devised a new contest.

If anyone joins Stuck in Time and posts a fanfiction in the week of July 16 – July 23, they will be able to request a one shot fanfiction from the site (with various talented fanfiction authors). The one shot they receive can be of their choice of pairing, writing POV, fandom, rating, and they can even tell you what they want in it!

And the highest rated and the highest reviewed story of that will get the one shot and ANOTHER fanfiction the same way but it will be a novel type fanfiction.

The person who brings in the most new people will have one of two options. A paid livejournal account for one year (with some extra goodies!) or a story. (Thanks to [info]darkladyvamp for the suggestion!)

I’d also like to ask some other people to volunteer to write these fanfictions.

So far the list of willing authors is:

Hey, I was wondering if we could offer a prize to the person who gets the most members to sign up, because this doesn't offer an incentive to the members already signed up to get new members.

Hm. I can actually probably shell out for a year. It's only like $20. I have a bit on me right now. All I have to do is steal my grandfather's credit card. Haha. We bought a mattress yesterday with it but we'll pay it off before then. :)

That was a good idea. I'll make that edit when I get home. Fantastic idea.
