This community is a weekly icon challenge community based around the very talented rock'n'roll band, The Strokes! Each week there will be pictures or a theme that you will be able to make an icon from, then there will be the voting and obviously the best icon will win. |
| RULES! |
| 1. Your submissions can not be animated! 2. Your submissions must remain anonymous. This means you can not use your icon or post it anywhere till the voting period is over. Posts will be made via screened comments to keep it a secret. 3. No telling your friends to vote for you. It breaks rule #2 and it's not fair to the people who follow the rules. 4. No voting for yourself. 5. You have to join the community in order to enter challenges. (Anyone can vote, though.) 6. If you entered, you have to vote for that particular challenge if you want to be eligible to win. 7. Make sure your submission fits LJ's size standards. 8. At the beginning of each contest I will make a post where you can reply with your entry. Comments will be screened so the only people who will see your entry before voting are you and me. 9. You will need a host that allows remote linking. Like Photobucket or Imageshack. 10. | 1. Contests will be posted on Mondays. 2. Deadline will be Friday evenings, usually around 9:00PM Pacific. 3. The icons will be up to vote for later that night or first thing Saturday morning. 4. You will have until Sunday evening to vote. 5. Winners will be announced Sunday evening. Banners will be up as soon as possible. |
