AboutThis is a community for the orchestral elite. We are the violinists, violists, cellists, and bassists. We never have to worry about 50 measures of rest or "tonguing" our articulations. We are dedicated, competitive, and almost always the soloist.
We are the string players.
Here you can discuss orchestras and chamber groups you're in, music you're working on, teachers, students, judges, auditions, festivals, instruments, bows, etc. Anything you want - music related. All string players are welcome, harpists and pianists included.
Also, please feel free to ask questions or bitch about how you should've gotten first chair.
