New GO Fic: "Catching Shadows" - Aziraphale/Crowley - R
by (of course i have ghosts) ([info]irisbleufic)
at July 15th, 2009 (03:58 pm)

Title: Catching Shadows
Pairing: Aziraphale/Crowley
Rating: R
Notes: Double Blind was something of an unexpected hit (not unlike Survivors' Guilt back in the day, come to think of it). Therefore, by polling and popular request, it's becoming the prologue to this slightly longer piece. I've decided to maintain present tense with the follow-up, even though that's always risky; drawing back a step into past might ruin the immediacy. Let me know if it was the wrong choice. Oh—and for U.S. readers who might be unfamilar with the parlance, sharps are needles, in a pretty specific sense (believe me, I had no idea what the hell that word meant when I first moved over here four years ago). Armed with that, I'm sure you'll get it from the context. Otherwise, this is pretty unashamed cocoa-and-book!porn. Enjoy.
Summary: Surreptitiousness has its merits, but it'll only go so far.

Title: Public Offering
Rating: G
Characters/Pairings: Aziraphale and Crowley
Notes: This started with tea and took a left turn into rare books and auction catalogs. Thanks go to [info]thesilentpoet for providing the actual auction catalogs that I, er, adapted to my purposes.

Summary: ( How would you tempt an angel? If the angel is Aziraphale, well... )

Two ficlets (Sherlock Holmes/Good Omens cross-overs)

Some weeks ago I wrote a couple of ficlets, both of them Sherlock Holmes/Good Omens cross-overs, and it occurred to me that I should post a link here. :-) One of them is from Dr Watson's POV, the other one from Crowley's; they're rated G and PG, respectively.

"Come now, Watson," my friend said with a sardonic smile. "After having my little deductions thoroughly shed to pieces by Mr Crowley, how could I presume my opinions on him to be valid in any way?"

Directory update, for those as have been waiting on it:
by (of course i have ghosts) ([info]irisbleufic)
at May 22nd, 2009 (12:12 pm)

All of my Good Omens stories and drabbles are now properly logged into my fic-journal's directory. That said, you lot are often sharper-eyed than I am, so if I missed a one here and there, please tell me. I'm still regretting the loss of your incredible original feedback from when I moved all the posts from this community over to my journal, but there's very little for it now. So, on that score, I must apologise!

(This will also explain why a lot of links on old recs posts are broken. I've been getting a lot of WTF-suffused questions on that score lately. I've been trying to notify people of broken links if I happen to know about their rec post or posts, but, sadly, tracking everything is impossible.)

Good Omens/Hot Fuzz Crossover: "Just Like Home" - PG13 - Ensemble Cast
by (of course i have ghosts) ([info]irisbleufic)
at February 20th, 2009 (02:00 pm)

Title: Just Like Home
Fandoms: Good Omens / Hot Fuzz
Rating: PG-13
Characters & Pairings: Ensemble Cast, all the shades of Aziraphale/Crowley & Nicholas/Danny you care to read, etc.
Notes: This fine mess is a long time coming. My headspace is multi-trauma central right now, so my hope is that combining my two biggest comfort-fandoms will bring some relief. Special thanks to [info]squeeful, [info]miss_morland, and [info]annlarimer for being particularly evil enablers. Not that I need much enabling.
Summary: The Lower Tadfield Police Station needs inspecting. Any questions?

(Fortunately, the drive was only going to take an hour and a half.)

A Challenge for You
by foxxfire5 ([info]foxxfire5)
at January 31st, 2009 (10:30 pm)

Hello everyone, I challenge you! Not to a duel, as I'd rather not die. :3 (Hopefully challenges/prompts are allowed here. If not, I'm terribly sorry, delete this at once. ^_^;;)

The challenge is to write a fic/ficlet/drabble/ around this prompt:
"It is easier to forgive an enemy than forgive a friend."--William Blake

I saw this and instantly thought of Crowley and Aziraphale. I wanted to write a fic about them around the quote but I have far too many fics started. So then I decided to challenge others to do my bidding write something GO (preferably Azi and crow-centric) inspired by the previous quote.

Anyone who completes the challenge will get a GO-themed drabble of their specification. (within certain boundaries--mainly, that I stink at hard core pr0n. xD)

Deadline: The End of March.

Ciao.

Hello *waves*..

I've noticed that Go doesn't have a fic find/rec community so i
made one. Its open membership and posting, and theres no rec
challenges unless you post them, so enjoy. :D

New GO fic, now that the Exchange reveal is live:
by (of course i have ghosts) ([info]irisbleufic)
at January 7th, 2009 (07:43 pm)

Title: The Garden in Winter
Written for: [info]aviss in the 2008 [info]go_exchange
Rating: PG-13
Characters/Pairing: Adam & Pepper (possible shades of Adam/Pepper)
Notes: It's so rare that I get the opportunity to write about these kids, and even rarer still when I get the chance to write about them all grown up (or, as the case may be, in the process of growing up). This, therefore, is a glimpse into their future - although I can't promise it's entirely comprised of warm-fuzzies! Some of you might even recognize that this is a puzzle-piece in a much, much larger picture.
Summary: How do you live when the fate of the world is eternally at your whims?
