So what did everybody think then? It's been a few weeks now and I have to admit I'm still kind of shocked.
Even if he was a tool towards the end of his career with the 'phonics, he was still a bloody good drummer. And anybody who worked on Performance and cocktails deserves a high-five. Or drummed to this.
What does everybody else think?

So I got this in my email today:

And if all that wasn't enough, tune into Scott Mills on Radio One this Friday (4-7pm) to hear Stereophonics cover of Hot Chocolate's 'You Sexy Thing' exclusively for the first time.
Jo Whiley played a teaser of the track today alongside an interview with Kelly about why they chose to cover the track.
'You Sexy Thing' was recorded for Radio One's 'Established 1967' album which is being released on October 1st to celebrate the station's 40th Birthday.
Well, I definitely don't live in the UK, or anywhere where I'd get Radio One! Any chance of somebody getting me a radio rip of this please?! And perhaps the interview as well? Thank you SO MUCH in advance! Let me know if there's any way I could listen to this!

Oh, and one other thing: I know this is going to VERY vague, sorry. Way back awhile ago, I saw a picture that a fan had posted somewhere on LJ, when she met Stereophonics. I know this is going to be a very vague description, but I can't remember anymore who or where it was... I think that the fan saw the band outside of a radio station or something? I THINK Kelly was wearing yellow. There were at least two pictures posted. And I just was curious about finding it again because I remember Kelly's hair just looked totally crazy (it was sort of faux-hawk-ish and swept up) and if this is you or know where I can find the pictures... give me a shout please, I would appreciate it :) Thanks!

Regrettably due to a family illness, Stereophonics have had to cancel their run of European dates they were scheduled to play with Oasis.
"We would like to apologize to all our fans and thankyou for understanding. We were really looking forward to the tour, Oasis are a great band and we hope to be able to share the stage again sometime down the road" - Stereophonics
Stereophonics will not be performing on the following dates:
Oslo - 25th Jan
Stockholm - 26th Jan
Tilburg - 28th Jan
Lille - 29th Jan
Grenoble - 30th Jan
Vienna - 1st Feb
Winterhauter - 2nd Feb
Toulouse - 4th Feb
Florence - 6th Feb
