Ode Less Traveled Interview
I pinched this from the QI boards. The OMG factor is celestial. The interviewer is obviously awestruck to be talking to him. Who wouldn't be?

Near the end, Stephen says: I'm actually seeing Hugh tonight. He's come back from filming his House series, and he's back for four days, so I'm off to see him.

THE IVY!!!!!!

I haven't listened to all of this yet, but thanks for posting: I could listen to Stephen talk about poetry all day. :D

Maybe it's the late hour. Maybe it's the years since I've studied poetry, but parts of this made me weep.

I think if I was in the interviewer's position, the best I'd be able to muster would be the occasional 'mmm' as well.

Fry has that effect on me too sometimes (cf. my reaction on hearing him speak at The Hay Festival back in May). What he said was beautiful and incredibly moving at points.
