hi there, fellow Stephen/Paul fans. i was in this community about a billion years ago (er, 3 years ago) under the name ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) 8linepoem. i deleted my LJ and then got a new one and didn't join many communities again, blah blah blah.
ANYWAY. there was this fic that i think i had in my Memories because i absolutely loved it, and i went through some of the old entries in this comm but couldn't find it, probably because there are a billion entries in here. i was wondering if you lovely people could help me find it again. i don't remember who wrote it. i think Stephen gets married in the fic and Paul is all emo about it, and i remember a detail of Amy wearing a yellow dress at the wedding. it was sad and i loved it.

Hi all. Erm, this is my first time posting to this comm, but I've lurked for a while and greatly enjoyed all the posts here. *g* Anyway, this place been kind of quiet lately, so I thought I'd share a vid I found -- I don't think it's been posted on YouTube/DailyMotion/etc. or on this community, so some people here may not have seen it. It's a Chuck/Geoffrey vid, with a few of the slashiest Exit 57 sketches mixed in. :D

I was sitting in my dorm listening to Linkin Park one day for the first time in a loooong time, and this song popped up. And I realized how delightfully angsty it was. Which of course made me think of Chuck and Geoffrey. I do love their angst. (Sorry, boys! I promise my next one will be all puppies and kittens!)
So I made this. I used some clips from Queer as Folk as there were some things I wanted to include that I doubt Comedy Central would have allowed SWC to air. If you know anything about that show at all, you know that's what's up with the rating. There's no actual naughty bits, though. But still, not kid/work friendly.

We all love our fanvids, right? I thought it was about time I join in the fun and take care of this idea I've had kicking about in my head since June.
The song is My Body is a Cage by Arcade Fire. You can find the lyrics here, if you care to read them. I'm quite fond of the song, and since I first heard it have been able to associate it with nothing but a closeted gay man - hence the vid.
I tried to tell the story of how Chuck handles his conflicting desires: his (what *I* like to call, at least) love for Geoffrey and his desire to not let anyone know about it. All you need to know: full color is the present, sepia is the past, and stuff in grayscale are memories that have haunted him.
