About"About 300 years into the future, mankind has become technologically advanced enough to make great leaps into space. Particularly, they focused on the development of technology for the pourpose of manipulating wormholes and the extended study of white and blackholes. Suddenly, rips in space or 'wild' wormholes began appearing throughout Earth and other planets hosting intelligent life, linking everyone together. When the wormholes were stable enough, all the races were now free to mingle with each other, often sharing more advanced technology with each other. However, some races would rather be left in peace, and some rips lead to unhabitable or outright dangerous worlds. However, many feel a sort of doom in the air, like something terrible is rushing towards them with no way of stopping it. It is no coincidence what that the rips appeared, and many races question if the Great Mother (the universal creator God) and her Godly children had anything to do with it. For now, the only thing the mortals can do for now is simply to chart as many worlds as they can and hopefully solve the mystery of their purpose among the vastness of the Universe."
