DIRECTIONS for LIVEJOURNAL:

2. Type "Bloggish" into the search box.
3. Choose "Unstyled" as your theme.
4. In the "Current Theme" box, click on "Change page setup."
5. Important: Select "2 Column (sidebar on right)".
5.5 If using a "plus" account, set "Ad Placement" on "Vertical."
6. Click on "Customize Selected Theme."
7. Click on "Custom CSS" in the menu on the left.

	I love it in general, but it would help a lot for me if the main column was wider. The status quo is really bad for nested comments in my journal. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Ooo, thank you for mentioning about the nested comments. I don't have designed comment pages on my own journal, so I don't always have the best feel for how they work. You're welcome. There might be a risk of horizontal scroll bars showing up on non-widescreen monitors if you make it TOO much wider, but I think you still have some room to spare, and I think it's possible to make flexible-width layouts. As it is, I think the main column (i.e. the pink/aqua part) only filled just over half the width of my widescreen laptop screen.

Apologies for the delay in replying. I'm glad to hear you liked the layout. As of right now I don't believe it works at Dreamwidth. There may be some way to use it there with custom layers and such, but I'm afraid that is all a bit beyond me. :-(

Thanks for asking after the layout in relation to DW, though. I am trying to contribute a few styles over there as time allows and, if there's interest in this one, I may be able to adapt it for use.

	I grabbed the rose layout - it's so beautiful! I tried uploading all of the images to my own photobucket acct, and then replacing the URLs in the code...but it messed up and looked terrible, all squished together and small and wonky. puts on dunce cap Obviously I have no idea what I'm doing but I will keep trying. :-D Thanks! 	Thank you! I'm pleased to hear you liked the rose layout. And thank you for trying to upload the images to your photobucket. (I do appreciate the attempt!) The only suggestion I can make, is to click "more options" (in the upload box) and make sure it is set to the "1 megabyte file size" option.
