AboutHello and welcome to SteamSmoke, the community for steampunks in London, UK.
The community's focus is, naturally, steampunk in this great capital of ours( plus things that, whilst not pure steampunk, do fall within our members sphere of interest). As a result our community's primary rule is that a post must have something to do with steampunk in London. Most of our posts are for events,gigs and meetups, but you can post anything so long as it follows the first rule. If you're not sure please take a look through past posts to the community to get a feel for it, or you can email me through Livejournal and ask.
We do have one other rule:

steamy_stitches, one of the steampunk communities set up specifically for selling. Most of our members belong to multiple communities and you're just going to annoy people if they see your post multiple times on their friendslist. Advertising of London events where steampunk items will be sold is okay though.
I am a fairly laid back mod, but if I feel a post needs to be deleted I will normally reply to it before deleting so that you know my reason for doing so.

anachrotech-A community for the gadgets,gears and historical influences of steampunk.
