I haven't really posted my own hats on here, mainly because it's only kind of steamy-ish.
I have sold most of my tiny hats, but I have a few left on etsy: ReHashing The Past

I used the tv560 and updated it to a turn of the century style. I lopped two inches off the shoulder, added a princess line and swapped out the regular coat sleeves for leg-o-muttons. I flared out the front and princess panels. Made in Waverly tavern ticking stripe, lined in moire satin. There's a matching skirt under there and the folkwear gibson girl blouse. I embroidered the lapel on one side and added a key pin to the other.
I still have to introduce it to the final ironing stage but here it is!

Hi all!
I recently did a photoshoot for my company, Tatterdemalion Designs for our Spring 2010 collection, called "Rough/Refine". I thought you might enjoy some of the beautiful pictures we produced, we just put some of the new pretties in our etsy shop.
For this shoot we were inspired by high fashion looks, steampunk and the interaction between so-called "primitive" cultures with European explorers (hence the bone jewelry).
I didn't post everything because some of the shots contain mild nudity....mods, how do you feel about this? I didn't want to offend anybody's delicate sensibilities. :)

The ecommerce company I work for has a web site that contains all publicly-shareable discounts and promos being run by our partners. Lots of them are clothing companies, and some of them I've seen people post about on this group before, so I thought I would share:
www.savvyshopaholic.com
This site is available all the time, but since it's getting to be the Xmas season, more and more of our partners are running promotions.
Here endeth the Shameless Plug. Enjoy!

Just a super quick note, we have a coupon on our facebook and twitter page for 15% off your entire purchase. No big deal, just because. There may be ONE MORE before the holidays, but by then, we will be sold out of so much so bewarned.
This Twitter/ Facebook friend coupon was only supposed to run yesterday but our server crashed last night with requests when I first posted it so I'm extending it until noon today, PST. That gives you roughly three hours.

Thanks and my apologies about the crash.

Since I got some really great advices here, I thought it'd be appropriate to post the results and say thanks again! I've started making little hats (or is it fascinators?) and hair clips not long ago, but I'm already hooked. ;)
I've put some up for sale on Etsy!

This magnificent computer animation, which was making the rounds a couple years ago, depicts an intricate hypothetical music machine, working by Rube Goldbergian chain reactions:

The only thing that could top that for sheer cool would be for somebody out there actually to build one:

ETA: Snopes is our friend, and should be consulted before rotely passing along netlore; apparently someone decided to up the ante a couple years after the fact by passing the sequence off as real: http://www.snopes.com/photos/arts/music machine.asp It's still a cool piece of work, though.
ETA REDUX: And, somewhere along the line, I completely neglected to credit the rightful animators, Wayne Lytle, Dave Crognale, and their colleagues at Animusic (http://www.animusic.com/previews/animu sic1.php); the composition is entitled "Pipe Dream." Further details regarding the hoax can be found here: http://www.hoax-slayer.com/incredible-m usic-machine.shtml I hope this serves as atonement, and some degree of damage control.

This weekend I will be attending The Grand Shipwreck Ball in New York City (http://www.dancesofvice.com/DOVFIII/in dex.html). Who else will be there?
If you are attending, swing by and say hi. I'm not very hard to spot in a crowd!

Regards, etc.,
